Последние денечки лета, конец августа….Совсем скоро детки снова пойдут в школу, и первое, о чем они будут говорить с учителями и с друзьями — это «Как я провел лето». Данная тема является актуальной и для уроков английского языка, когда учителю нужно «разговорить» учеников и понять, что они запомнили, а что забыли за 3 летних месяца.

Как написать сочинение на тему летних каникул?

Чтобы правильно написать сочинение, необходимо использовать основную схему: введение, основная часть, заключение. Соблюдая эти пункты, у вас получится замечательная письменная работа.

Во введении (introduction) можно написать в общем о лете, почему мы его любим, чем можно заниматься, как обычно его проводят большинство людей. Чем больше предложений заключает в себе введение, тем лучше виден ваш богатый словарный запас на английском. Но не стоит увлекаться. На самом деле, для взрослых учеников будет достаточно 5-6 предложений. Для младших учеников — это 3-4 строки в абзаце.

Сочинение о летних каникулах можно написать и в виде письма другу или родственнику. Если так, то введением может послужить приветствие, вопрос о том, как у друга дела, объяснение причины, почему вы решили написать ему письмо и т.д.

В основной части (basic part) нужно написать, как провели лето именно Вы: где и с кем были, что делали, что с Вами произошло интересного. Можно просто описать один интересный случай.

В заключении (conclusion), как правило, подводят итог сочинения в 2-3 предложениях. Это может быть представлено как вывод о том, почему лето — это такое прекрасное время года, пожелание о том, чтобы лето побыстрее вернулось. Если вы писали письмо, то заключение может содержать вежливое прощание и просьбу ответить на ваше письмо и т.д. Или если это был какой-либо курьезный случай — какие можно сделать из него выводы (например: нужно делиться с друзьями, помогать старшим, получать наказание за вину, быть одной командой и вместе выполнять задания и т.п.)

Грамматика: Желательно употреблять глаголы в простом настоящем или прошедшем времени (Present or Past Simple), ведь каникулы уже прошли, и вы будете писать о том, что было. Небольшой совет: не стоит слишком изощряться во временах глаголов, особенно для школьников это ни к чему. Можно запутаться и допустить ошибки.

All the people enjoy summer holidays very much. It is a great pleasure to have a rest after a whole year of hard work or study. People like to travel during their summer holidays. Some people like to spend their holidays in cities, visiting theatres, museums and sightseeings. But a great number of people go to the seaside in summer.

I like to have rest at the seaside best of all. I do not like crowds when I am on holiday. My family and I always have our holiday on the coast. Sea and sunshine, that is what we look forward to every summer. Hotels at the large seaside towns are rather expensive, so we usually go to a holiday camp.

After camp I visited my grandparents in the village. I went there with my parents. I have a lot of friends in the country. We went to the lake; we sunbathed and swam a lot. My friends and me went to the forest, there we picked mushrooms. My granny cooked something tasty every day, my granddad showed me all the interesting places in the country. We went fishing with him and with my father.

In July my family and our friends went to the seaside. The seaside is great! I had a lot of wonderful impressions. We swam in the sea, we sunbathed, visited a lot of places. We took a lot of pictures.

In August my family had an opportunity to go to the mountains. It was wonderful! The nature in the mountains was very beautiful, everything was green. Especially I liked the flowers, they were unusual.

Everyone knows that for all students the best time of the year is summer holidays. First of all, you’re free from school and may forget about textbooks, lessons, homework for all three months. As for me, my summer is quite typical from year to year. I usually spend June at home. I get up late all the time and try to be outside with my friends as much as possible. I really enjoy cool summer evenings when my friends and I can go for a walk in the park or ride around the city on our bikes. Also, we like rollerblading a lot. If the weather is bad I normally stay at home playing computer games or just surfing the Internet.

Then in July I usually spend the time in the countryside with my grandparents. I have a lot of friends there as well. We often go to the lake for swimming or sunbathing. It’s always active time and we have a lot of things to do together.

August is the most interesting month. My parents usually have a vacation at this time. So travelling to different countries is the best activity before I go back to school. My parents and I love travelling all over Europe. Thus, we have already visited Italy, Spain, France and Czech Republic. We prefer city holidays with a lot of excursions and sightseeing. But we can also combine it with a beach holiday as we did it in Italy and Spain. It helps to keep the balance between active and peaceful rest.

So, I suppose that summer must be full of rest, going out with friends and obligatory travelling. This year my family is going to Greece and I’m looking forward to having an exciting time there.

With the arrival of summer, many young people start thinking about how they can spend their holidays and whether they can do something productive during their weeks off from school. There are many better ways to enjoy and make the most of your holiday than staying at home and watching the TV and the novelty of that would wear off after a few weeks of Bargain Hunt anyway. If you want to learn to play a musical instrument, you don’t have to sign up to a music school, as it is indeed possible to master this art on your own. Read to your heart’s content

Is the reading you have to do for school not leaving you any time to enjoy reading the books you want to read? Then your time off from school is the perfect moment to get stuck into your favourite novels! Even if you are not a big fan of fiction, your local library will have a plethora of topics which could interest you.

Discover a new sport

The vast majority of people know how to play football or how to shoot hoops but what about golf, surfing or hockey? Trying these sports out could be the start of a new passion.

Explore new places

Another great idea for how to spend your summer holidays is to explore your own city or discover a place which you have always dreamed of visiting. Irrespective of which city it is, you would not be able to cover all of its museums, buildings and historical monuments nor its theme parks or other places of interest. Therefore you should make a list of the best things to see in that city and then you can prioritise based on what most interests you.

Go on a hiking adventure

Do you love being outdoors? Then this activity is perfect for you. Hiking is an excellent way of exploring secret or obscure places and of coming face to face with incredible animals whilst feeling like a true explorer. And what’s more is that if you decide to do this activity in an exotic country like Spain, there are plenty of nature parks with all kinds of species to discover. An amazing adventure could be just around the corner!

Learn a new language

Despite all of these great ideas, the best response to the question of how to spend your summer holidays productively is getting to grips with a new language. Being bilingual is an extremely valuable skill in the professional world but it also has other benefits – it improves your attention span and your memory and helps to stave off illnesses such as Alzheimer’s. French, German and Spanish are all really useful languages that, with a bit of time and effort, can be mastered. All it needs is motivation!

All of these activities are brilliant for helping you to make the most of your summer holiday. Any of these options are better than staying at home and sitting on your sofa watching TV for hours on end and lamenting what you could’ve been doing or discovering if you had tried to reap the benefits of your time off from school.

How I spent my summer vacation

My summer vacations this year were interesting and memorable. Every day was filled with events.

In June, together with classmates, we went to a camp. I liked the camp very much. We played sports games, competed in various sports, took part in various competitions. In the evenings, we went to the disco. I enjoyed discos as I like music and dancing. I made a lot of new friends and got to know my classmates better than at school.

When I returned home after the camp, together with my parents we went to the Crimea to have a rest by the sea. We stayed in a nice hotel in Feodosia. I really liked the stony beaches, blue sea, and numerous excursions. Mom and Dad allowed me to scuba dive and I saw the life of the seabed. I also visited the water park, made trips on a motor ship, and rode horses. My rest by the sea was unforgettable.

In August, I went to the country to visit my grandparents. I have many friends in the village where my grandparents live and we spent time together. We went swimming and fishing.

My summer holidays fly surprisingly fast. Now the school year has just begun, but I’m already waiting for new vacations, new impressions and new friends.

В июне вместе с одноклассниками мы отправились в лагерь. Мне очень понравилось в лагере. Мы играли в спортивные игры, соперничали, принимали участие в различных соревнованиях. По вечерам мы ходили на дискотеку. Мне нравились дискотеки, поскольку я люблю музыку и танцы. Я завел много новых друзей и узнал своих одноклассников лучше, чем до этого в школе.

Когда я вернулся домой после посещения лагеря, вместе с родителями мы отправились в Крым, чтобы отдохнуть у моря. Мы остановились в хорошем отеле в Феодосии. Мне очень нравились каменистые пляжи, синее море и многочисленные экскурсии. Мама и папа позволили мне заняться подводным плаванием, и я увидел жизнь на морском дне. Я также посетил аквапарк, совершил поездку на теплоходе и прокатился на лошадях. Мой отдых у моря был незабываемым.

В августе я отправился в деревню навестить дедушку и бабушку. У меня много друзей в деревне, и мы проводили время вместе. Мы плавали и ловили рыбу.

Мои летние каникулы пролетели на удивление быстро. Учебный год только начался, но я уже жду новых каникул, новых впечатлений и новых друзей.
