Сохраните изменения и выполните запуск игры. Если язык остался по-прежнему русским, воспользуйтесь рекомендациями из второго способа, а затем попробуйте возобновить запуск игры.

Then go to «c:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\» and edit file «Skyrim.ini». You should change 2 parameters here:

How to change the language in Skyrim, and why is it needed?
In fact, there is a fairly simple procedure for how to change the language in «Skyrim» in both cases.
Why is this necessary?
The first problem is a principledimpossibility to play with English. To date, not everyone knows it even at a basic level, therefore, downloading from the various unscrupulous resources incorrect versions of the game, they find that they can not normally perform actions because they do not understand the purpose of the missions and what the various keys mean. It is especially useful for such people to know how to change the language in Skyrim.
The second option is the inability toconsole these or other commands. This is due to the fact that even the Russian version of the game does not provide for the possibility of introducing characters in Cyrillic into the console, and in principle it is not necessary, because all the relevant commands can be written exclusively in Latin. It is for this reason, when trying to enter anything into the console, a person simply sees some kind of an incomprehensible set of identical squares. Due to the fact that the system does not perceive these squares as symbols at all, not everyone immediately understands that the point is that the game is set up in Russian.
The licensed version? Easily escaped
If you have a licensed version, then in thisThere will be no problem at all with how to change the language in Skyrim. During the game, enter the gaming community by pressing Shift + Tab. After that, choose one of your friends and enter into a correspondence mode. You do not need to communicate with him, just in the text line that the message fits into, just right-click and select the appropriate language.
Change the layout
In the «Control Panel» you need to find the item «Changekeyboard layout. «After that, open this item, go to the tab» Languages of the keyboard «, click» Change «and in the drop-down tab choose the default English language, and remove the Russian keyboard altogether.
It should be noted that such an option aschange the language in the console «Skyrim» is one of the most optimal, since it often allows you to start typing commands even without restarting the game itself. However, in some situations, this option not only does not help initially, but, among other things, it even provides a full reboot of the computer in order for everything to start working normally, and later it would be possible to freely use various console commands.
Change the root files
This option involves changing the rootfiles of the game itself. In particular, this technology of how to change the language in the Skyrim console provides for the modification of the skyrim.ini file, which is located in the My Documents folder / My Games / Skyrim.
After you open this file, find thethe following line: [General] sLanguage = RUSSIAN. It should be immediately warned that in no case it will be impossible to delete this line, because otherwise you will not be able to enter any commands into the console at all. That’s why, if you are looking for how to switch the language in Skyrim, just after this line, enter the following command: sConsole = ENGLISH. Now all the commands that you will enter the console will initially be perceived by the game as Latin, so you can start using any codes.
The only thing that is worth noting: unlike the previous method, this provides a full restart of the game, so that the console really began to perceive commands normally.

How to change language in skyrim
I need some help on changing SKSE 64 language.
When I fresh installed SSE (Skyrim special edition) It was on my PC language (Spanish) which I dont really like beacause translation tend to be anoying and misacurrate.
But before I changed skyrim language trough game properties I decided to install SKSE and all the mods. After hours and hours of trial and error (With mod compatibility and such) I managed to launch the game to a devastating thing; It was on spanish. I inmediately rush to change the language.
But when I launch it (FROM MOD MANAGER with SKSE profile) again my game was still on. Spanish. I bealived it was a bug from steam and decided to open it with the SSE profile and that was on ENGLISH.
After some time spent trying to change the language, Im not able to find the way ( Right one) to do it.
I already changed the ini (which was on english), double check steam properties and so on. I dont really like to reinstall SKSE64 and not my mods (HELL NO!).
Therefore, I know there is a way to include a SKSE ini file to force it to launch with set parameters BUT SKSE 64 doesnt include one and on google theres only stuff related to memory managment and texture options but nothing about language.
Im really keen to try the new SSE with mods, so if anyone could be kindly enough to solve my issue I would be eternaly grateful.
I’m also using mod manager

Hey, I guess I should have posted it.
What I did was that I went to the SKSE folder on %appdata% and search for the skyrim.ini file in there, in there I changed the language to English.
Sorry if instructions are not that clear, when I have some spare time I will post the thing more clearly.
Atleast I hope this works for you.

can you explain? I’m having the same issues.. Cant find skyrim.ini
Hi,
well first of all I was using MOD ORGANIZER 2, if you dont have this launcher try to do the same thing but with the launcher you are using.
Open Syrim.ini with ANY text editors ( I recomend NotePad++ [notepad-plus-plus.org] ). Once you opened the file you must see in the line number 2 the following line sLanguage=ENGLISH, probably the ENGLISH part will be different, You change the ENGLISH to the language you desire.
And thats all, if you happend to encounter any more problems I guess this is not the way to solve your issue.
I am supossing you already changed the skyrim.ini files in the skyrim root folder, and also the language via steam.
