Сегодня хотелось бы поговорить и дать клише на сравнение картинок для ЕГЭ.

Поговорим о том, какие требования есть в этой части, как к ней готовиться, а также представлю шаблон сравнения картинок на английском языке.

В чем цель этого задания?

— уметь изъясняться на английском языке свободно и без подготовки, сравнивать вещи, предметы, события.

— владеть хорошим вокабуляром.

— уметь использовать грамматические структуры соответствующего уровня.

Важно!

— продолжительность вашего монолога. Она должна составлять не менее 2 минут. Если вы говорите меньше — вам снижают баллы.

Вот примерный план, по которому необходимо вести свой монолог. Изучите две фотографии. Будьте готовы сравнить их. Прежде, чем приступить к описанию картинок, у вас есть несколько секунд для анализа и обдумывания своего ответа.

— Дайте краткое описание картинок. В этой части вы начинаете с небольшого вступления и описания того, что находится на картинках. Одна из самых распространенных ошибок — забыть про него и приступать сразу к сравнению.

— Скажите, что есть общего в картинках. Примерно 20 секунд. Даем 2-3 аспекта, в чем фотографии одинаковы.

— Опишите, чем они отличаются. Аналогично с предыдущим пунктом — у вас будет примерно 20 секунд на противопоставление этих фотографий.

— Выразите свое мнение, какая картинка вам больше всего нравится и почему.

Если трудно аргументировать свой ответ, можно сказать что-то общее, например,

Выразить свое мнение и аргументировать его.

— Говорить меньше 2 минут нельзя. Научитесь чувствовать время. Пробуйте записывать себя на диктофон и проверять ваше описание по секундомеру.

— Расширяйте свой словарный запас. Без хорошей лексики на экзамене никуда.

— Выучите типовые фразы, запомните клише и следуйте за опытом тысяч людей, уже справившихся с этим до вас.

— Практикуйтесь. Чем больше, тем лучше, но хотя бы 2-3 раза в неделю. Пусть наши клише станут для вас как те пресловутые: «London is a capital of Great Britain». J

Well, there are two pictures in front of me, and now I am going to compare and contrast them.

To begin with, I’d like to say that both pictures are related to one theme. It is reading.

I’d like to start with describing the first picture. It shows us a girl reading something from her iPad at the moment. As for the second picture, it shows another girl reading a book.

Obviously, these photos have much in common. First of all, it is a beautiful young girl that should be mentioned as a common element of both situations. You can see that she is really carried away by reading, and she doesn’t pay attention to what is happening around her. Frankly speaking, it seems to me that the girl in the first picture is the same as in the second picture.

If you take a closer look, you can’t help noticing some differences. In the first picture the girl has brown wavy hair while in the right-hand photo the girl has reddish-brown hair. Secondly, the book itself is different. On the contrary, in the second picture the girl is reading an e-book downloaded into her iPad while in the second case it is a paper-book that is being read.

As for me, I’d prefer e-books to paper-books, because a lot of e-books can be easily downloaded from the Internet for free, and in addition to it, they are more comfortable to read.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that reading is a good way to spend free time no matter what way of reading you choose.

Well, there are two pictures in front of me, and now I am going to compare and contrast them.

To begin with, I’d like to say that both pictures are related to one theme. It is “spending free time”. I’d like to start with describing the first picture. It shows three members of a volleyball team. They are at the height of the fighting for the ball. In the second picture you see three pretty girls who are relaxing to the full extent dancing and maybe singing.

Obviously, these photos have much in common. First of all, the number of persons shown in the pictures is the same. There are three persons in the first case, and there are three persons in the second case. In addition to it, I dare say that both actions are happening inside a building, not in the open air.

If you take a closer look, you can’t help noticing some differences. In the first picture we see a moment that is extremely tense. The volleyball players are straining themselves as much as possible to return a ball. On the contrary, in the second picture the girls are trying to relax and zone out. In addition to it, the photos differ from each other in the way the girls are dressed. The volleyball players are wearing a special uniform consisting of shorts and T-shirts. The dancing girls are wearing cool dresses, which are quite casual.

As for me, I’d prefer playing volleyball because sport makes us strong and healthy.

In conclusion I’d like to say that there many ways of spending free time. You should choose your own way considering your purposes, physical and mental state.

Одно дело владеть английским языком, другое дело выучить стандартные фразы и научиться употреблять их в подходящей ситуации. Что ж, второе — одна из ступенек по лестнице наверх «up to the top» и, так как ЕГЭ по английскому языку — это стандартизированный экзамен, то в этой статье мы поговорим о том, как сравнить две фотографии согласно требованиям этого экзамена.

Как сравнить две фотографии на английском языке (ЕГЭ, устная часть, задание С4)

Содержание:

1.Что такое стандарт и типичные ошибки при сравнении фотографий

Стандарт (от англ. standard — норма, образец) в широком смысле слова — образец, эталон, модель, принимаемые за исходные для сопоставления с ними др. подобных объектов.

Иными словами, стандарт — это определенный шаблон, по которому вас оценивают эксперты. Отступление от стандарта грозит вам лишением баллов. Да, печально, но уже со школьной скамьи приучают нас быть одинаковыми, стандартными, иначе…

Ладно, перейдем ближе к делу, а именно к сравнению двух фотографий на английском языке. Данное задание (задание 4) относится к высокому уровню сложности и содержит много подводных камней, которые надо обойти.

Вот пример сравнения двух фотографий, которое, кажется, вполне нормальным с точки зрения здравого смысла, но содержит ошибки с точки зрения стандарта.

Прочитайте внимательно это описание:

Well, both pictures show an animal, the bear. I would like to start with the first picture that shows a big polar bear in the zoo. The bear is sitting on a stone with its paws up. It is not looking at people, it looks aside and it seems that it is tired of so much attention. A lot of people have gathered near the open-air cage, taking pictures. As the people are wearing warm coats and caps, it is probably late autumn. The colours in this picture are grey and dark.

As for the second picture, it also shows a bear, but it is a brown bear. It is completely different from the first one as it shows the bear in the wild. In contrast to the first picture, the second one is full of bright colours: yellow flowers, green grass. It shows a summer day. The bear is busy, it is carrying a log. I like this picture more and not only because I like summer but also because I believe that keeping wild animals in zoos is inhuman. Although some people say that it is necessary for some educational purposes, to say nothing of entertaiment.

All in all, both pictures make me think of wildlife. As for me, I am sure that wild animals should live free in their natural habitat because they are part of nature.

Да, действительно, на момент написания статьи (дата: 9 января 2015 года) данное задание находилось в стадии апробации. И никто еще толком не знал, как же сравнить две фотографии максимально «правильно» с точки зрения стандарта. Но вот прошли семинары, пробные экзамены и, вроде как, разобрались, наконец! Что ж, надо и нам стандартизировать описание, чем и займемся сейчас.

The photos are both similar in some ways, in that they were both taken outdoors and probably in the summer, and both of them have mountains in the distance. Another thing they have in common is that they both show people who may well be on holiday.

Well, I have two pictures to compare and contrast. From the very beginning, I’d like to say that both pictures are connected with a very important topic. It is human environment. The first picture shows us an urban environment with high modern houses, much traffic, and the like. The second picture presents the countryside, which is very quiet, and nothing special is happening there.

If you take a closer look, you’ll find a lot of common details in both pictures. In the first place, I’d like to state the fact that there are some buildings in both pictures. In addition to it, there is a road running through the scene, and greenery in both photos.

As far as differences are concerned, it is obvious that the houses are different in the pictures. Absolutely! In the first photo we can see a number of skyscrapers and other city constructions made of reinforced concrete plates. In the second photo we can see plain small country-houses, which are nothing out of the common. Besides, the roads differ from each other in the pictures. In the left-hand picture, the road is wide and full of cars, buses, and other city vehicles. In the right-hand picture, the road is unsurfaced, and utterly empty.

As for me, I’d prefer an urban environment, though it is more polluted and less comfortable to live. The reason is that a big city has more opportunities for personal development and making a successful career.

Now, I am going to give a short talk about the photos which are presented here. You can see my sister Victoria in both photos. In the left-hand photo she is cooking dinner while in the right-hand photo she is snowboarding.

As a matter of fact, these pictures have much in common. In the first place, you should pay attention to the number of persons that are presented in both pictures. It is only one person who is shown in each case. I mean my sister whom I have just spoken about. What is more, her emotions in both pictures are the same. She is happy and excited.

However, the photos differ from each other to a considerable extent. Firstly, in the photo on the left you can see Victoria inside the house while in the photo on the right she is outside her place of living. Secondly, she is wearing different clothes. In the first case she is dressed in light clothes worn about the house. In the second case she is wearing a down-padded coat and warm winter trousers.

As for me, I’d prefer cooking to snowboarding. Frankly speaking, I’m not a sporty person. In addition to it, snowboarding is quite dangerous.

Now I am going to give a talk comparing and contrasting two photographs.

To begin with, I’d like to say that these photos are connected with a very important topic. This is “family life”. In the left-hand photo you can see a happy family consisting of four persons. It seems to me that they are celebrating Christmas because there is a Christmas tree in the background. In the right-hand photo you can see another family consisting of three members. I guess they are having a birthday party because there is a birthday cake with the definite number of candles in it, and there are also birthday presents on the table.

It is at once apparent that both pictures have much in common. It goes without saying they depict a happy moment of family life. The people are dressed up, and they are also in good spirits. By all appearances, they are having a good time. There is one more detail that makes the pictures alike. I mean children. Both pictures show us happy children who are surrounded by their loving parents.

Frankly speaking, it is difficult for me to decide what celebration to choose because they both seem to be awesome. Nevertheless, I’d prefer Christmas because it is a holiday for not only getting presents but also for making them.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that it is very important to have a happy family and to celebrate occasions together.

As a first step, I’d like to say that these pictures are about spending free time together. In the first picture you can see a group of young people who are quad biking in winter. In the second picture you can see a party of friends who are going to watch TV.

If you take a closer look, you can see that these pictures have much in common. First of all, I’d like to point out the fact that both groups of people are sexually mixed. I mean there are males as well as females in each group. In addition to it, they are approximately of the same age.

Despite all the similarities, these pictures are rather different. It is obvious that the number of persons is not the same. There are three persons in the left-hand picture while there are four persons in the right-hand picture. Moreover, the first group is in the open air, in a thick forest. By all appearances, it is frosty and windy there. The second group is inside a house. They are sitting on a couch and feeling pretty comfortable.

As for me, I’d prefer having a party at home because I don’t like extreme activities. Frankly speaking, I am not a sporty person, and, what is more, I hate winter.

In conclusion I’d like to say that it is just awesome to have good friends to spend free time with.

In addition to it, the photos differ from each other in the way the girls are dressed. The volleyball players are wearing a special uniform consisting of shorts and T-shirts. The dancing girls are wearing cool dresses, which are quite casual.

As for me, I’d prefer playing volleyball because sport makes us strong and healthy.

In conclusion I’d like to say that there many ways of spending free time. You should choose your own way considering your purposes, physical and mental state.

Well, I am going to give a short talk about two photographs comparing and contrasting them.

It is at once apparent that these photos are related to one theme, which can be defined as “taking care of your health”. Let me start with the first picture. You can see a number of people here who are exercising on running machines. The main person is a girl shown in the foreground. As to the second picture, there is a girl here who is jogging in a park.

It stands to mention that these pictures have much in common. Firstly, the main characters in both situations are females of approximately the same age. They are sporty, and they like keeping fit. Secondly, the girls are wearing similar T-shirts, which are suitable for doing sports best of all. What’s more, both young women are smiling, which means they are in good spirits and experiencing great pleasure in physical exercises.

Along with similarities, there are a lot of differences in these photos. First of all, the girls are doing sports in different places. The first girl seems to be in a gym or a fitness center while the second girl is jogging in an open area. Besides, if you look at the girls’ clothes, you see the difference of their colours. In the first case it is white while in the second case it is red.

As for me, I’d prefer jogging in a park. In my opinion, it is much healthier to do exercises in the open air breathing fresh air in and enjoying the surrounding nature.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that there are many ways of taking care of your health. You choose your own considering your preferences, purposes, and physical state.
