ENB Preset:Enhanced Shaders
UPDATE: PROPBLEM FIXED
All right i will give it a try but if the game is all messed up it will be all right i can redownload it or validate it.
I mean, you could just do that and skip everything else if you don’t mind waiting a few minutes where you won’t be able to play New Vegas. Of course, if you have other mods, things could get screwy.
Validating won’t help you unless you delete (or rename) your folder, though. It doesn’t remove non-vanilla files or revert the ones you’ve changed, which is a really good thing for modding. It only adds the ones that are corrupt or missing. Hence, delete or rename your folder if you want to go this route.
How to delete enb
Fallout 4
you can go into the game folder and delete anything that says enb.
That doesn’t always work since some ENB presets also add custom textures that replace vanilla ones and those, of course, don’t have «enb» anywhere in their file names. What he needs to do is extract the archives for the Preset and the ENB to his desktop, and then use that as a reference to find and delete the same files in his Fallout 4 game and Data folder (if necessary).
In other words, delete what he put in.
To clarify, Presets as such do not add any custom textures. They may come with custom textures, which are very often distributed as loose files and thus winning conflicts against archived files.
SuperSledgeNY gave good instructions how to locate them.

Also, you can skip removing the d3d9.dll if you are wanting to try a different ENB preset.
There are some out there that don’t impact performance much, but use small changes to make a big difference.

Any examples of those?
I’m sure somebody can chime in with an example. I use Seasons of Skyrim, which didn’t hurt me too bad. I’m running 32GB of ram with an R9 290x though, so not much slows me down right now. 😀
I can tell you that I have seen them on NexusMods, though. They claim little-to-no performance loss, and the screenshots looked pretty good. I couldn’t tell you the names of any off the top of my head.
Best advice is to just skim through the ENB listings on Nexus. You might also check their forums out. There are probably a few people that have asked through there.

1. Delete d3d9.dll from Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data folder.
2. Then delete Skyrim.ini and SpyrimPrefs.ini from Documents/My Games/Skyrim folder.
3. Run Skyrim thru Steam again to re-dl files from step 2.

Deleting skyrim ini and prefs is a bit extreme all I did was change those in mod organizer, they existed before project enb.

Change them back to default then.
. Again deleting them from this location and running the game through MO will simply create new ones (just verified in my game). This is the quickest easiest way to undo any changes made to the ini’s.
