Although, users have got problems with this method, both for the gameplay and side-effects. I have been that users have ONLY got the problem — the side-effects I mentioned — that their screen got black suddenly, after powering up their PC, for example. I have tested this on a Virtual Machine (VM), and in one relative PC, and in fact it carried with that side-effect, I do not know with certainty why it does that, but I saw that [kind of technical details incoming]: explorer.exe, which seems that also runs the desktop process and not only the Windows File Manager, gets stuck for some reason, and does not run. Its fix was to re-run explorer.exe, in a nutshell. Concerning the gameplay, sometimes a pop-up that a trial time has started appears, even though you are playing on multiplayer for example; the reason why that pop-ups is becuase of a process that always gets executed when Minecraft starts, and therefore it is told that you should kill it every time you execute Minecraft, and that can become annoying.
