What are promo codes?

Roblox promo codes are exclusive codes that allow players to unlock unique, never-before-seen avatar items completely for free. Each time that you unlock an item using a promo code, it’s permanently added to your Roblox inventory, meaning that you’ll never have to worry about it disappearing or only existing for a limited amount of time! Keep in mind, however, that though the redeemed items stick around forever, the codes don’t, so it’s important to redeem promo codes as soon as possible!

How do you use promo codes?

To redeem promo codes, simply head to the Redeem Roblox Promotions website, type in or copy and paste your code into the text box, and press Redeem. If your code is active, it will automatically unlock its corresponding reward and add it to your Roblox inventory!

When will new promo codes be released?

Unfortunately, promo codes are released at random times throughout the year with little to no information about them ahead of time. Typically, these codes are released via Roblox’s social media accounts, such as Twitter or Facebook, during holidays, with Roblox-centered events, or after achieving company-related milestones. From January 2022, to June 2022, zero promo codes have been released.

Can you get Robux from promo codes?

No, you cannot receive Robux through promo codes. If you see a promo code that says it awards Robux, avoid it! There are no Roblox official promo codes that award Robux. If you’re looking for a few legitimate ways to earn Robux for free, however, we’d recommend checking out our guides on the best ways to earn free Robux!

How long do promo codes last?

This answer is dependent on the specific code—sometimes promo codes are permanent, sometimes they last a few months, sometimes they only last a few days. In most cases, it’s impossible to tell how long a promo code will stick around, which is why like to emphasize the importance of redeeming codes as soon as possible—you never now when they’re going to go away!

EVENT: The VMA Experience

The 2022 Video Music Award (VMA) nominees have been announced via Twitter and among them are three artists, duo Twenty One Pilots and soloist Charli XCX, who are far from strangers to the Roblox platform. Nominated for the category «Best Metaverse Performance,» these artists are known within the Roblox community for their fully virtual, in-game concert events that players can now vote on inside of The VMA Experience. EVENT: School of Sport

The American retail chain Dick’s Sporting Goods has joined the Roblox Metaverse with their School of Sport experience. Similar to other branded experiences, such as Tommy Play or Beatland, School of Sport offers two free avatar items that players can unlock. EVENT: Guacathon

Guacathon is an event experience that aims to celebrate the legacy of Joaquin «Guac» Oliver, who tragically lost his life in the 2018 Parkland school shooting, and promote Change The Ref, an organization that shows the effects of mass shootings through the use of urban art. EVENT: George Ezra’s Gold Rush

Singer-songwriter George Ezra has joined the Roblox Metaverse with his George Ezra’s Gold Rush experience and has brought four free avatar items along with him! Originally rumored in May of 2022, this experience was created by development studio MELON, the same studio that made the Chipotle experience, and was released on July 26, 2022. Netflix and Roblox have teamed up to give players a free Dustin’s Hat avatar item as a special thank you for playing Stranger Things: Starcourt Mall during its beta development. To earn this item, simply enter the Starcourt Mall experience! After doing so, you can continue to earn a handful of other Stranger Things-themed iconic outfits from the show by spending Star Coins, a free in-game currency earned by playing. It’s a grind to earn enough Star Coins, but if you play the minigames enough you’ll be able to grab some cool outfits free of charge.

EVENT: Roblox Nerf Hunt

The Roblox Nerf Hub launched alongside the physical release of Roblox Nerf Blasters, which are themed around some of the most popular experiences on the platform. Players can earn the Nerf Dart Cap hat accessory by winning a prize from the claw machine and win the Dart Glasses by achieving the highest score in the shooting range. Metaverse Champions was the April 2021 event that replaced the annual Egg Hunt event, a popular tradition in the Roblox community. EVENT: Wonder Woman: The Themyscira Experience

Despite being over a year old, Wonder Woman: The Themyscira Experience is still open to players! In order to earn the eight free items that are available to collect inside of this experience, players will need to complete various quests, minigames, and obbies to earn in-game coins, which can be exchanged at the Shop for items. EVENT: Ready Player Two Hub

In celebration of the release of the young-adult novel Ready Player Two, Roblox players can claim the Ready Player Two Book hat and Ready Player Two shirt for free! To do this, simply launch the Ready Player Two Hub experience! Upon doing so for the list time, the two avatar accessories will automatically unlock and appear in your Roblox inventory. EVENT: Beat the Scammers!

Learn how to spot scammers in real life and earn the awesome Shield of the Sentinel avatar item in exchange! Beat the Scammers! invites players to answer 10 questions that revolve around suspicious messages or posts—answer all of the questions correctly by determining which messages are a scam to earn the item! Roblox Creator Challenges

Creator Challenges were implemented by Roblox as a way for players to learn the ins and outs of Roblox studio, Roblox’s game development program, while also playing minigames, exploring inventive areas, and having fun with friends. The Roblox Creator Challenges took place inside of three experiences, Galactic Speedway Creator Challenge, Jurassic World Creator Challenge, Godzilla Creator Challenges, and PC Creator Challenge. By joining each of these experiences and answering a few game development-related questions, players can earn a variety of free avatar items.

These questions range in difficulty, but a majority of them can be answered with little to no programming knowledge or coding background at all—going with your best guess is often enough! You also aren’t penalized for wrong answers, so there’s no need to worry about starting all over if you get one wrong.

Note: If you completed the Galactic Speedway Creator Challenge when it was still titled the Star Wars Creator Challenge, you’ll need to go into your badges and delete the ones related to it in order to earn the new ones. These can be found on your Profile page under Player Badges and have the titles below.

Click on each of these badges and select the dots to the right of their names—this is where you can delete each badge from that menu. Once you’ve done that, go back into the Galactic Speedway Challenge and complete it again to receive the new rewards.

All free items in Roblox Tommy Play and how to get them

The Roblox x Tommy Hilfiger collab is here! Following in the steps of another Metaverse visitor, Clarks, clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with Roblox to release their BMX-themed experience, Tommy Play. Players hoping to earn a few free items inside of this experience are in luck, so hop on your bike and let’s get started!

Earning all free Tommy Play items

TJ Wearable BMX Backpack

The TJ Wearable BMX Backpack can be earned by completing the experience’s quick tutorial. To complete the tutorial, simply join Tommy Play and approach the NPC pictured below.

Upon speaking to this NPC, TJ, you’ll be asked to equip your in-game bike. To do this, press Q and select the bike from the menu that appears.

After doing so, you will earn the Introduction badge and the TJ Wearable BMX Backpack item!

TJ Sport Cap

To earn the TJ Sport Cap, players need to accumulate at least 20 seconds of airtime on their BMX bike. To do this quickly, we recommend keeping an eye out for any of the cloud rings pictured below.

Going up ramps and jumping into these cloud rings will blast your Robloxian into the sky. If you see multiple cloud rings stacked in front of one another, be sure to ride through them! The extra boosts, along with pressing the spacebar, will send you flying.

TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack

Before you can earn the TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack, you’ll need to find and unlock a secret door! To do this, hop on your bike and head toward the large bridge pictured below.

Ride across the entirety of this bridge but be careful as you approach the end—you’ll need to drop down onto a small platform hidden below the edge.

On this platform should be a door guarded by a small chicken. In order to unlock this door, you’ll need to complete a Bar Spin trick in midair. To do this, press the spacebar and the 1 key at the same time.

Once you’ve completed this task, the door should automatically open, allowing you to enter the secret room and earn the TJ Giant Hotdog Backpack item and badge!

Entering the room isn’t necessary as there’s nothing collectable inside, but you’re more than welcome to do so anyway.

TJ Chicago Cropped Windbreaker

The TJ Chicago Cropped Windbreaker can only be earned by those who rank in the top three on either of the in-game minigame leaderboards—Races Won or Races Completed. On top of that, you must also rank on this leaderboard in a server that has over 11 players inside of it. If you rank top three but the entire leaderboard isn’t full, it won’t count!

At the time of this article’s publication, less than 10,000 people have completed this task and earned the corresponding Local Legend badge.

Other clothing

Along with the free items mentioned above, there’s also a handful of other clothing pieces that can be obtained for free inside of Tommy Play.

These clothes, some layered and some 2D, can either be purchased with Robux from Roblox’s Avatar Shop, or with in-game money from the Tommy Play Shop. The prices of all of these clothes can be found in the list below.

Well, the Nike x Roblox collab came sooner than we originally thought it would—but it’s given us two free items nonetheless! NIKELAND has officially released on the platform and with it comes the Nike Cap and Nike Backpack, both completely free and wearable outside of the experience! In this quick guide we’ll be going over how you can get your hands on them both—spoiler, it only takes a few seconds!

Free items

Upon spawning into NIKELAND, your character will be be dropped into their Yard. If it’s your first time in the experience, a pop-up box will appear on your screen that tells you how to customize and decorate your Yard—ignore this for now, we’re on the hunt for items! From your Yard, look around for the Showroom building.

The Showroom is a red, circular building with a massive hologram of a shoe on top. Once you’ve spotted it, head towards it. Pro tip, running on the red track instead of through the grass will give your character a much needed speed boost!

After finding it, head towards an entrance and look for one of the many jumping Showroom NPCs. Speaking with any of these NPCs will award you with a badge and the Nike Cap and backpack!

That’s all there is to it! You’ll now be able to find these items in your Roblox avatar inventory and can continue exploring the Showroom. Keep in mind, however, that any items purchased with in-game coins are not wearable outside of the experience—they are for your NIKELAND Robloxian only!
