Appearance
Meinya is a rabbit-sized creature called a Meinastilim, also known as a child of change. [3] It has an oval shaped body, stubby legs and feet, and large ears it uses to fly with. Its face is somewhat resemblant of a toad’s as its pupils are slitted horizontally across the entire diameter of the eye. [4]
By sniffing Meinya’s fur, Riko and Prushka are able to navigate Ido Front without succumbing to the Curse. [5]
Personality
Meinya cares deeply for Prushka, as shown when it cries in despair and begins to lap up what is spilling out of Prushka’s cartridge after it has been used. [6]
History
Early Life
After Bondrewd had adopted Prushka he gifted Meinya to her and the previous frantic Prushka slowly started approaching the strange animal, with a dubious curiosity, and started showing signs of affection with it, naming it Meinya. Overjoyed with the first signs of recovery of his new daughter, Bondrewd declared that the day would be her birthday and afterwards Purshka’s condition started to steadily improve. [7]
Ido Front
During the main group’s stay at Ido Front, Prushka and Riko become friends and Prushka introduces Riko to her pet; Meinya. [8]
During Reg’s and Bondrewd’s fight, Bondrewd ejects several of his cartridges and begins to recite their names. Meinya interrupts him, running to one cartridge and, after sniffing and licking the contents, wailing over it. Bondrewd confirms that this cartridge contained Prushka. [9]
Ilblu Arc
Due to an accident, Meinya is injured by a very curious Narehate and the group witnesses the village’s ritual to balance value. Nanachi confirms that Meinya is fine and it will just take a bit time until its swollen intestines return to normal. [10]
When Reg returned to the village with Faputa’s body parts, it was Meinya who signaled Riko of his return. [11]
Meinya is seen with Maaa when Riko regains consciousness after having used her whistle during the battle with Faputa. [12]
Shortly before Maaa’s final moments, she hugs Meinya and Riko close with a hint of satisfaction in her expression. [13]
Beyond the village
During their further travel, Faputa questions Nanachi about the curse itself and Nanachi gives Faputa explanations to it. Then, suddenly Meinya reacts to something and looks for it. As the group follows Meinya they come upon the corpse of a Black Whistle Delver. [14]
Reg initally panicks but Nanachi quickly informs him that the Delver is already dead. As the group wonders about his cause of death, and which group he could have belonged to, Nanachi searches him for useful common Artifacts Delvers often carry and they collcet an all-purpose lockpick, Gentle Knock, and an air dumpling, Mermaind Burp from the corpse. [15]
Curse Fleet Arc
When the group arrives at outpost of Hail Hex in the 6 th layer, Meinya approaches Srajo, is picked up by her while cooking, and climbs onto her shoulder. [16]
Abilities
High Durability
Meinya has pliant, flexible bones that can undergo a lot of stress. When Meinya was injured, rather than being crushed, its eye was pushed out of its socket, and the intestines out of Meinya’s anus, before being popped back in with relative ease. [17]

Prushka es la hija adoptiva de Bondrewd. Nació dentro del Abismo, en la Quinta Capa. Nunca ha visto la superficie con sus propios ojos.

Apariencia [ ]
Prushka es una niña que aparenta tener sólo un poco más edad que Riko. Tiene una piel pálida y ojos escarlata. Su cabello, el cuál tiene su dirección en contra de la gravedad debido a la maldición de la Quinta Capa, es de color blanco y verde.
Su vestimenta está inspirada en la que usan los excavadores. Al igual que su cabello, tiene los mismos colores. Consiste en una falda de cuero larga color verdoso con un borde de volantes en su extremo inferior. Su falda se sostiene con tirantes sobre sus hombros. También tiene una camisa de manga larga blanca decorada con una corbata. Sus manos están cubiertas por guantes de cuero, igualmente verdosos.
Prushka tiene un característico gorro ovalado hecho de cuero verde con botones rojos. Casi nunca se le ve sin él. Dentro del mismo, se suele esconder su compañera y mascota, Meinya.
Silbato Blanco [ ]
Como un silbato ya pulido, su forma es larga y tiene cierto parecido a su cabello, ya que la parte superior es más clara que la inferior. También tiene la forma anti gravedad de sus mechones. En la parte superior central, tiene grabado una especie de ojo vertical.
Personalidad [ ]
Prushka, desde la primera vez que se presentó en la entrada del Idofront, destacó por su amable y jovial actitud. Logró entablar una amistad rápidamente con Riko, a pesar de no haber conocido a ninguna otra persona de su edad antes. Carente de miedo, la curiosidad la inspiró a explorar el ambiente dentro del Idofront y la Quinta Capa, aún si sufría las consecuencias de la maldición.
Prushka se ha mostrado ser muy amorosa con aquellos que aprecia, como su padre, Meinya o Riko. A pesar de su turbio pasado, mantiene una actitud fuerte y está decidida a lograr saberlo todo sobre el Abismo.
Ella agradece a los «empleados» de su padre, incluso si estos la «ignoran».
Historia [ ]
Prushka después del accidente.
Prushka era la hija de un silbato negro, subordinado de Bondrewd. Cuando era apenas una infante, un fatal accidente la hizo sufrir las consecuencias de la Cuarta Capa. Como resultado del accidente, su cuerpo y estabilidad mental se vieron gravemente afectados. Fue encontrada por otro subordinado llamado Gueira, quien trató de sanarla. Al darse cuenta de que la niña apenas seguía con vida, decidió matarla para terminar con su sufrimiento. En ese momento, Bondrewd apareció. Decidió perdonarle la vida cuando la tomó en brazos y la declaró como hija propia. Entonces, le otorgó su nombre, que significa Flor del alba.
Prushka luego de la maldición.
Al ser trasladada al Idofront, la pequeña Prushka permanecía escondida en lugares claustrofóbicos, donde la luz apenas se asomaba, y solía tener ataques de pánico, hasta que un día su padre le trajo a Meinya. Curiosa, se acercó al animal y se sintió finalmente en confianza. Bondrewd felizmente declaró aquel día como su cumpleaños.
Una vez siguiendo a Meinya, fue afectada por la Maldición del Abismo. Tras esto, empeoró momentáneamente. Sin embargo, Prushka había vuelto de un lugar peor, según las palabras de su padre. Logró recuperarse rápidamente y siguió con sus aventuras en el Idofront.
Arco: El señor del Alba [ ]
Bondrewd había avisado a Prushka de la llegada del trío de exploradores, y le pidió que lo ayudara a recibirlos. Se presentó amablemente con el grupo y se vio encantada especialmente por Riko.
Durante un corto periodo de tiempo, Prushka y Riko formaron un importante lazo de amistad. Prushka fue cautivada por las muchas historias de Riko, sobre sus aventuras y el Abismo en sí mismo. Tanto fue su pasión que expresó abiertamente que deseaba juntárseles para seguir con su aventura.

Arco: la Villa Narehate [ ]
Prushka es llevada junto a Riko a la Sexta Capa y al llegar a la Villa Iblu es entregada a un especialista llamado Poriyon, que pulirá sus mejores cualidades como Silbato Blanco. Tiempo después, durante el ataque del monstruo a la Villa, Riko busca a Prushka, quien ha sido finalmente pulida y con su mayor potencial a la mano. Poriyon menciona que fue muy placentero poder mejorar a Prushka y tiene un sentimiento sensual al levantarla. Anuncia, además, que Prushka tenía intensas ganas de estar con su dueña, Riko. Durante un momento en la pelea contra el monstruo, el espíritu de Prushka le dice a Riko que la llame a través del silbato. Al soplarlo, Reg es inmediatamente invocado, mostrando el verdadero poder de un Silbato Blanco.
Habilidades [ ]
Prushka conoce bien la anatomía humana gracias a la experiencia otorgada por su padre. Es capaz de sanar pequeñas heridas eficientemente y sabe cómo tratarlas. También, gracias a Meinya, conoce una forma de subir las escaleras del Idofront sin tener que sufrir la Maldición. Logró memorizar el camino guiado por su mascota, demostrando tener también capacidades intelectuales considerables.

Bondrewd [ ]
Su padre, mentor y protector. Prushka fue adoptada por él luego de que sus padres murieran en un accidente. A través de cariño y paciencia, Bondrewd logró sanar las heridas psicológicas de su hija y los dos crearon un vínculo familiar muy fuerte. Prushka amaba a su padre, tanto, como para aceptar convertirse en un cartucho para ayudarlo y otorgarle la Bendición del Abismo a uno de sus tantos cuerpos.
La primera y única amiga de Prushka. Al tener tantas similitudes, como la misma edad y ser hijas de Silbatos Blancos, lograron entablar una relación lo suficientemente fuerte como para que Prushka sólo pensara en estar con ella al morir. Su corazón se convirtió en una Piedra de Brillo Vital, cuya melodía sólo podía tocar Riko. Su último deseo fue continuar con la travesía a lo más profundo del Abismo con ella y los demás. Dicho deseo fue cumplido, aunque de una forma algo agridulce.
Gueira [ ]
La relación entre Prushka y Gueira se limitaba a que éste cuidara de ella en ocasiones, ya que no demostraba tanto afecto como el que Bondrewd le ofrecía, a pesar de ser la misma alma en dos cuerpos distintos.

Prushka is the adoptive daughter of the White Whistle Delver Bondrewd. She was born in the Abyss and, as such, has never been to the surface. [1]
Contents
Prushka is a young girl with short white and green curly hair and glowing red eyes. Her attire appears to be somewhat influenced by the clothing of diving suits. She wears a green coat and gloves on top of a white shirt, as well as a big hat on her head she almost never removes. [2]
Prushka is a cheerful and amiable girl who loved her adoptive father very much. She is incredibly devoted to him, and would do anything to help him, holding him in a higher regard than anyone else. [3] Having lived the majority of her life in the 5 th layer, she developed a strong curiosity for exploring and was fascinated by tales of others travels through the Abyss. [4] She is adventurous and quite brave, going on her own adventures through the 5 th layer behind her father’s back. [5]
She is also very honest, and placed a great value on her friendship with Riko. She was surprisingly talkative, easily forming relationships with other people and showing no signs of insecurity or shyness despite not having ever been around others her age. [6] Due to her horrible past and the influence of her father, she developed an amazing mental fortitude, and became very obstinate, to the point of being willing to challenge the curse of the 5 th layer multiple times just to learn more about it. [7]
Early Life
Prushka is the daughter of an «Umbra Hand», the Black Whistle subordinates of the legendary Delver Bondrewd. As a toddler, Prushka was caught in an accident while being transported through the 5 th layer. She survived but was subjected to the curse of the 5 th layer and as a result, she suffered severe physical and mental trauma. [8]
Some time passed where Prushka’s mind remained just as unstable, hiding alone in dark areas between walls. Often, she would have panic attacks and display fits of hysteria. One day, Bondrewd gifted her a small creature called a Meinastoirim. The previously frantic Prushka slowly started apporaching the strange animal with a dubious curiosity, and started showing signs of affection with it, naming it Meinya. Overjoyed with the first signs of recovery on his new daughter, Bondrewd declared that the day would be her birthday, signifying a new start for her. [10]
After some time, Prushka saw notable improvements and behaved almost like a regular girl. One day when playing with Meinya, she accidentally climbed some stairs and was hit by the curse of the 5 th layer, resulting in her receiving grievous wounds. Despite the horrible experience, Prushka’s mind was able to recover much more quickly than before, though her hair ended up permanently curled. [11]
She spent the following years in Ido Front collaborating with anyone she could, and occasionally venturing outside with Bondrewd, carrying out explorations through the 5 th layer together. [12]
Ido Front Arc
Prushka greeted Riko, Reg, and Nanachi as they arrived at Ido Front. [13] She quickly formed a strong bond with Riko, despite them only being there for a very short time. [14] As she helped the three escape on a boat, Prushka exclaimed that she wanted to go adventuring with Riko, Reg, and Nanachi. [15]
But before this could happen, Bondrewd turned her into one of his cartridges. [16] Due to her devotion, she took the burden of the curse so that Bondrewd could receive the Blessing of the Abyss. [17] Despite this, her desire to join Riko was so great that she thought about her all while receiving the curse, and her remains transformed into a Life Reverberating Stone, which Riko then took as her White Whistle. [18]
Ilblu Arc
Prushka, now as a Life Reverberating Stone, is in Riko’s possession, and travels with them throughout the 6 th layer. [19]
While in the Narehate Village she is taken to be worked on by a specialist, Poriyon, who can bring out the best of her qualities as a White Whistle. [20] Once completed, Prushka feels much more clear to Riko. [21]
In the fight against the Fuzosheppu, as Riko desperately thinks of a way to save everyone she sees an image of Prushka telling her to blow her whistle. [22]
After an exchange of blows in the battle between Reg and Faputa, Reg instructs Riko to blow her whistle. This triggers an activation in Reg resulting in him emitting a white glow with enhanced speed. Faputa curses at Riko for using Prushka against her and reveals it was her who instructed Gaburoon to bring the stone into the village. It was in order to test if the bond between Riko and Prushka was truely genuine as well as in hope of bringing Reg to the village because she thought it would trigger his memories to come back. [23]
When Reg starts his battle against the Turbinid-Dragons he signals Riko to blow her whistle which she does and passes out after doing so. [24]
Beyond the village
While the group is asleep during their travels, Riko is seemingly able communicate with Prushka in a realm of subconciousness. Prushka tries to establish communication with Doni but informs Riko she is unable to do so. The two change topic and talk about Reg, Faputa and Wazukyan’s goals. Then, Prushka notices someone is trying to wake Riko and both say their goodbyes to meet again another time. [25]
Basic Medical Knowledge
Having lived with a legendary Delver for years, Prushka is quite knowledgeable of many things. She’s well-versed in human anatomy and medicine, and is capable of treating lesser wounds quickly and efficiently. [26] With the help of her pet, Meinya, she figured out a way to climb the stairs in Ido Front even while suffering the sensory-deprivation curse of the 5 th layer, indicating that she has a pretty clever mind and her memory was good enough to memorize Meinya’s movements. [27]
She appears to lack fighting ability, as she hasn’t displayed any feats of strength and, when leaving Idofront, she would be escorted by members of the Praying Hands. [28]
Drawing out the true power of Relics
After becoming a whistle, Prushka is able to activate ancient devices, as seen with the Altar of the Absolute Boundary, as well as draw out the true power of Relics, as seen with Reg. [19] [29]
Communication with the Whistle owner
As a whistle, Prushka is able to communicate with Riko on a subconscious level to the point of them having full discussions. She is also able to experience events via Riko’s senses to the point of experiencing food Riko eats. [30]

Synopsis
Reg is disgusted that Bondrewd could sacrifice Prushka, who loved him so dearly. With renewed resolve, Reg resumes the battle. Unknown to them, Riko has overheard the conversation from nearby and is in tears.
In a flashback, Prushka’s origin is shown. As the daughter of an Umbra Hand, she was afflicted by the curse at an early age, to the degree that she was only able to say «It hurts» and shriek in pain. An Umbra Hand and her caretaker, Gueira, suggests putting her out of her misery, but Bondrewd decides to adopt her, with the reasoning that a prayer cannot be born from those who only know joy.
Prushka makes little progress until Bondrewd gives her Meinya, who serves as her first source of interest and joy. While playing with Meinya, Prushka follows it up a staircase and is hit by the ascension strains, suffering severe damage. Bondrewd is confident she will recover quickly. Prushka’s hair is permanently curled from the incident, and she wonders why Meinya wasn’t hurt.
She keeps investigating, and discovers by smelling Meinya’s fur, she can navigate the staircase better. Gueira notes that some Abyss animals have this ability. Prushka asks him to keep it a secret from Bondrewd. Bondrewd shows a cartridge to Prushka, explaining it is a girl who helps him. Prushka promises to help him, too. Prushka visits the power plant with Gueira, where they see workers who failed to become Umbra Hands. Prushka gives them homemade whistles to thank them for their service.
Bondrewd instructs Prushka to greet and befriend Riko’s group, mentioning that Riko is also the daughter of a White Whistle. Prushka is slightly jealous, but commits herself to following her orders. Prushka is amazed by Riko’s descriptions of the surface, her friends, and adventures. Prushka recalls memories of her, as she is being processed into a cartridge.
Bondrewd is able to nullify the Incinerator by firing Sparagmos at it. He pins Reg down and damages Reg’s stomach with his claws, but Reg fires the Incinerator from his foot, distracting Bondrewd. A second Incinerator charges from above, and Bondrewd looks up to see Riko holding Reg’s stolen arm, which fires on him. Prushka’s final wish is to reconcile with Riko and the others, and for Bondrewd not to fight them, so that they can all go on an adventure together.
