Oh, cool! That’s nice! Yaaaaay Wazukyan

Wazukyan is a Narehate in Ilblu. He is one of The Three Sages, the ones who created Ilblu. He can speak the language of Delvers. [1]

Contents

Wazukyan is large, and covered by what appears to be an intricately crafted fur robe. His face is flat, with the left half of it marked in a shape reminiscent of a white skull. Two large blunt horns protrude from the sides of his head and arch upwards dramatically before looping back down in front of his face. His arms are a tangled mess of lots of segmented limbs. [2] He walks on two legs. [3]

As a human, he had a bulky, commanding figure and very sharp facial features. [4] He had a beard that framed his face and slicked back hair. His face was covered in tatoos and he had large bags under his half lidded eyes. [5]

Despite his intimidating and commanding appearance, Wazukyan seems to be pretty laid back. Though he is one of the ones in charge of the village, he is first seen eating at a very crowded restaurant and making pleasantries with the other patrons. Riko bowed very low when she introduced herself to him as a Delver, to which he just replied with «I see! That’s great!» and gave her a high five. [2] He seems to have an amiable relationship with most of the other Narehate in the village; he greeted them all very casually as he passed by. [6]

Curiously, Riko noted that he «smells of the sun,» just like Reg said about Faputa. Whether this is significant is unknown, but Wazukyan became a Narehate due to the same being responsible for Faputa’s birth. [6]

As a human, Wazukyan was essentially the same, if not more serious. Belaf described him as having some sort of a «divine possession» when it came to his instincts. His hunches and predictions were always right, even when he didn’t have any prior knowledge, even predicting Vueko’s joining Ganja. His crew-mates trusted and respected him as their leader. While travelling to the Abyss, he would eat bugs and mice from the bottom of the ship to «prevent disease.» [7] [8]

Ganja Arc

At some point in the past, Wazukyan led Ganja in search of what the island natives called «Shourou’s Golden City» down the 6 th layer. During Ganja’s advance to the 6 th layer they met some Interference Units and learned of the curse. Accepting that they wouldn’t be able to return to the surface, Wazukyan proposed to start anew, setting up a permanent camp and become the first citizens of the golden city, thus leading to the later founding of Ilblu. [9]

After some time, members of Ganja started to fall ill and die due to an unknown disease. Belaf discovered that the source of the disease was the water they had been drinking, but left without any alternative in drinkable water they had no choice to keep using it. Later on, Wazukyan inquires the Interference Units on a stone found by the scavenging team which is revealed to be an Artifact called the the Cradle of Desire. [4] [10]

The Artifact is said to be able to grant wishes when touched if the mind of the holder is not «messy or complex,» as it tends to be the case with mature humans, and that the fate of the scavenging team was due to the state of their minds. They also mention that «immature» humans have a higher chance of getting their wish granted, due to their minds having less complex of messy thoughts. Vueko requested it to be given to Irumyuui, in hope it could cure her from the illness, and Wazukyan agreed. [4] [11]

The day after Irumyuui was given the Artifact she was all better and didn’t feel any pain, but the Artifact had fused with her body, being implanted in her chest and she was still disfigured from the illness caused by the water. As time progressed she became more and more transformed and also started to give birth to Neritantan- like offspring, but they died soon after birth due to being born without organs for ingestion. This caused Irumyuui great grief and Vueko comforted her. [12] [13]

When Vueko became ill as well, Wazukyan fed her something she described to taste delicious with a scent of fat. Upon awaking, Vueko was healed. Seemingly, she has a bad feeling about what Wazukyan gave her to eat and upon questioning him he reveals that the others had been healed as well, saying «That kid saved us all.» [14]

The food Wazukyan had fed Vueko, Belafu and other Ganja members, who gotten infected by the «Pseudowater», was broth made from Irumyuui’s children and to his surprise it not only gave nourishment to the infected, but also alleviated the symptoms of their infection. [15]

Vueko, flustered and worried, was asked by Wazukyan if she wanted to see Irumyuui. Upon arrival Vueko was horrified to see that Irumyuui had transformed even more, barely even recognizable but still able to recognize Vueko. [16]

Irumyuui had given birth to another child and was caressing it, but Wazukyan took it from her in order to butcher it. Irumyuui pleadingly cried out because she didn’t want to give up her child and seeing this, Vueko requested to let Irumyuui at least stay with her child until it had died. Wazukyan, apologetically, declined that request, due to having discovered the meat works better the fresher it is and killed Irumyuui’s child with a knife. [17]

The following days, Irumyuui’s children continued to be used as nourishment for the Ganja members. Then one day, Vueko, while being with Irumyuui, discovered the Cradle of Desire in a scar that had opened up in Irumyuui’s chest and was perplexed since she was sure it had broken. Wazukyan arrived at the scene and told Vueko he had the Interference Units search for another one, because Irumyuui had been growing weaker and he feared she might not survive much longer without a second Cradle to fulfill her another wish. Suddenly, Irumyuui started getting restless and began moving. Vueko tried asking her what’s wrong, but got no response and Wazukyan, ominously, told her that it was almost «time to see Irumyuui’s true wish being fulfilled». [18]

Irumyuui continued moving and Wazukyan instructed the other members to stay close to Irumyuui and follow her, while he carried Belafu. Suddenly Irumyuui stopped moving and started consuming flying predators with tentacles growing out of her. Belaf still pained by guilt requested to also be eaten by her and offered himself up to Irumyuui. A giant hole opened up in Irumyuui, allowing Belaf to walk right inside her. As Belaf’s flesh was consumed he was simultaneously reconstructed and transformed into a Narehate. The other Ganja members, struck by the «beauty» of Belaf’s new form, concluded that they would be forgiven for eating Irumyuui’s children if they offer themselves up to her in the same way and Wazukyan proclaimed that this is the home they had been looking for. [19]

Only Vueko hesitated. Wazukyan noticed that and asked her what was wrong. Vueko told him she doesn’t think this is what Irumyuui truly wished for and upon being asked by Wazukyan what she intends to do, she proceeded moving backwards to fall down a near cliff. As she jumped off she told Wazukyan she won’t let anybody else have it and he realized she is holding a Cradle of Desire in her hand, which she had previously taken from Irumyuui. Wazukyan managed to grab on to her leg before she falls off, but Vueko hit her head on the stonewall and passed out, but before doing so noticed that Wazukyan had also used a Cradle of Desire on himself. [20]

When she woke up she found herself bound and in the dark pit Riko would later find her in. Wazukyan, now also turned into a Narehate, told her she is currently inside what used to be Irumyuui’s head as it’s the closest point Vueko could be to her. Vueko asked Wazukyan why he used a Cradle on himself, even though the Units warned them that adults would suffer from using one,and Wazukyan told her he did it in order to give the others faith in Irumyuui. He also told her, while being in the dark pit, she will be able to feel Irumyuui’s emotions and can watch over her from now on and leaves her. [21]

Later on, because Irumyuui still had the second Cradle her last true final wish is granted: The birth of her last child, Faputa, who one day will take revenge for all her dead brethren. As Wazukyan and other villagers watched Faputa’s birth, she quickly destroyed the remaining Interference Units of Ganja before fleeing. [22]

Ilblu Arc

Wazukyan first appears in the Narehate Restaurant. He is a guest sitting right next to Riko. After she is informed by Moogie who he is she hastily introduces herself to him as a Delver. Wazukyan gives her a relaxed response, saying it’s neat that she is a Delver and gives her a high five before leaving. [2]

Later on Wazukyan makes a brief appearance at the end of the battle with the Fuzosheppu explaining its nature and praising Riko for doing a «good job». Riko asks him of a way to get Nanachi back from Belaf, to which the sage assumes it might be possible if they were to present a part of «The embodiment of value». [23]

After Reg has returned with parts of Faputa, Wazukyan, who had eavesdropped on the conversation between Vueko and Reg, concludes Reg must have been «The Prince» and is surprised Reg managed to secure parts of «The Princess». He also casually greets Vueko, expresses his joy of her finally being able to leave her pit, and asks her if she already told them about «The Princess». Vueko reluctantly confirms she has, but notes she told the story from her point of view. [24]

Wazukyan shifts his attention to Riko and asks her if she has come to hate him now, knowing the past occurrences. Riko states she doesn’t really know Wazukyan well enough to come to hate him, but likes the village as it has many inhabitants who she can relate to. Wazukyan elaborates that she most likely feels that way because she is one of the few Delvers diving past the point of no return, and the villagers were once the same, with the village being a place for the ones with nowhere else to go. [25]

Riko, addressing Wazukyan again, says while she doesn’t know him too well, he doesn’t seem like a person whose deepest wish was a place for the ones who have nowhere else to go. An adventurous person like him who set out to find the Golden City would never stop at the entrance to it, which is the 6 th layer, and Riko asks him why he is pretending to have given up on his quest. [26]

Wazukyan expresses his joy for her observation skills and notes in the last 150 years she is the first to notice. Riko takes some time to think and when asks Wazukyan if he perhaps hopes for her to use the power of the Cradle to allow the people of the village to set out for an adventure once more. Wazukyan, speechless, asks how she came to that conclusion, to which Riko says she was in a similar situation before and Wazukyan once more praises her obsertivity. [27]

Moogie, addressing Wazukyan, tells him while she would like to venture in the Abyss again, she feels it would be unfair to force Riko to make such a wish, to which Wazukyan replies that nobody is forcing Riko and it is a decision only the ones challenging the Abyss can make; namely Riko’s group. [28]

Before anyone else can say something, Juroimoh shows up and starts attacking. Wazukyan quickly grabs Vueko and moves to a higher position to avoid Juroimoh. Reg manages to draw Juroimoh’s attention and a fight erupts between them, which leads to Juroimoh transforming into a even more monstrous form with the dark gooey liquid masses. While observing, Vueko asks Wazukyan why Juroimoh has the same name as her adoptive father who used to abuse her. Wazukyan explains that Irumyuui created Juroimoh from the signals she received from Vueko and Juroimoh is the very will of the village itself. [29]

Both, Wazukyan and Vueko, observe Reg’s battle against Juroimoh. While Wazukyan is exicted, like watching a sport competition, Vueko shouts at Reg that the Ilblu Balancing won’t work on Juroimoh. [30]

Shorty after Reg fired his incinerator, Faputa arrives. Faputa tells the onlooking villagers she will not forgive their sins and the time for their «extermination» has come. [31]

As Vueko and Wazukyan witness the battle and destruction, iron rain of the 6 th layer starts to fall. This leads to Wazukyan using his own body to shield from it. [32]

When Faputa turns to attack Riko, Vueko, scared for Riko’s safety tells Wazukyan to let her go, but he informs her she would just get killed if she were to try to help. [33]

After Belaf’s death, Vueko is saddened by what happened to Belaf but Wazukyan is relieved as Belaf has shared his feelings with Faputa, and thus Faputa most likely wouldn’t kill Vueko now; though he assumes he would be in real trouble now. Wazukyan apologizes to Vueko before warping her in the rest of his body and leaping down with her. [34]

Wazukyan, those body is barely still holding up, is later discovered by Riko’s group who had escaped the situation with Faputa. [35]

He adresses Riko and asks her if it was worth comming so far in her adventure. Riko thinks for a brief moment and tells him that it was totally worth it because if she had stayed on the surface she would have never even been able to imagine the places she saw so far and the people she met. [36]

She also tells him that she had the Star Compass a little while ago and though she lost it is sure the next one to find it will also go on their own adventure. To her, if that person also feels their journey was worthwhile, it is worth it to her. [37]

Wazukyan, though not quite sharing the same outlook anymore, admits that is a nice outlook to have on it. Nanachi then interjects and questions Wazukyan what ultimately his goal was. He tells them that they wanted to become something more than human as they felt this was needed with steady buildup. Thus they find themselves at the logical conclusion with Faputa seeking to find her own path to move forward. [38]

There is only one thing he wishes to do now, and that is to tell them to watch after Faputa. Reg tells him, at this point, this goes without saying. As Wazukyan begins to fade, he recites about how they are homesick children on a journey through the Abyss and something more terrifying than a dream gone unfulfilled waits beyond the Golden city. His hopes are that they try to make their dreams a reality and abandon hope. [39]

Riko also thinks things will not all go to plan as he says, but displays a postive outlook regardless. Taking note of that, Wazukyan fades away completely. [39]

Specific Knowledge

As one of the Sages, Wazukyan possesses knowledge about processes in Ilblu. For example how the value of things are being set. [40]

Foresight

Wazukyan is seemingly able to forsee certain events to an extent as displayed in the build up to the conflict with Faputa and during it. [41] [42] However, as shown by his surprise by certain outcomes and situations, it appears to be more of a broad abstract foresight and him observing how the final result of the accumulating actions taken ultimately turns out. [43] [44] [45] He also has been described by Belaf as someone he believes to have some sort of a «divine possession» when it came to his instincts as his hunches and predictions were always right, even when he didn’t have any prior knowledge; with even predicting Vueko’s joining of Ganja. [7] [8]

Faputa’s Promise is the fifty-second chapter of the Made in Abyss manga series.

Contents

Synopsis

While Vueko is telling the others about her past, Reg and Faputa are making their way back to Ilblu.

Reg is carrying the body parts Faputa ripped off herself, while she is resting on his head. A short exchange between the two follows, in which Faputa requests to be patted on the head by Reg, followed shortly by noises of creatures attracted by the smell of Faputa’s blood, and they quickly hurry to the entrance of the village.

Riko, alarmed by Meinya, quickly peeks outside Ilblu’s barrier to greet Reg. In doing so, she catches a short glimpse of Faputa, and Faputa notices Prushka’s new embellished form. Immediately after Reg steps inside the barrier with Faputa’s body parts, the village reacts similar to the Ilblu Balancing, but far stronger and more uncontrolled.

Reg panics and contemplates to bring the parts to Belaf right away, but is stopped by Vueko because she assumes seeing them could drive Belaf insane. When Vueko asks Reg how he acquired the parts, Reg tells her Faputa gave them to him so that he would fulfill his promise.

In a flashback, it is shown how Faputa, knowing Reg is too kind to destroy the village, requested him to become her «helper». In the past, Reg had told her his incinerator should be able to «rewrite» the laws of the Abyss itself and allow Faputa to bypass Ilblu’s barrier.

Wazukyan, who had eavesdropped the conversation, concludes Reg must have been «The Prince» and is surprised Reg managed to secure parts of «The Princess». He also casually greets Vueko, expresses his joy of her finally being able to leave her pit, and asks her if she already told them about «The Princess». Wazukyan elaborates that she most likely feels that way because she is one of the few Delvers diving past the point of no return, and the villagers were once the same, with the village being a place for the ones with nowhere else to go. This makes Majikaja and Moogie a bit nostalgic and they admit they often dream of challenging the Abyss again, because their journey wasn’t over before they came to Ilblu.

The Secret of the VillageThe Golden City

The Compass pointed to the Darkness is the forty-eighth chapter of the Made in Abyss manga series.

Contents

Synopsis

The chapter opens, showing a younger Vueko looking at the Star Compass in her possession, while being under deck of a ship.

Gazing at it, she is reminded of the story her horrible, good for nothing, foster father used to boast about. It was back in his youth, when he went out to the sea for a shore hunt. He and his crew found a ship sending up smoke in the ocean. After boarding the ship, they quickly found its crew had died in very unnatural ways, with one having been burned without any flames around, another still moving, despite having been bisected, and another with their organs spilled out. Only one crew member survived, but he was so traumatized that he could no longer speak. When Vueko’s foster father finds the Star Compass on the ground and picks it up, the last crew member, upon seeing it, begins to deliriously mutter about the «Golden City» and how his crew «didn’t reach it.» He notes that the Golden City is where the compass will stand up straight. Shortly thereafter, the crew member dies.

Believing he had been chosen to discover this «Golden City», Vueko’s foster father used to tell her this story, while abusing her, to remind her that he was special and that she had no worth. Vueko notes that she wasn’t like her foster father, who only had one boastful story to tell. She has prepared herself for the journey to the Golden City.

Remembering this past, combined with the ship’s motion, causes Vueko to feel seasick, and she runs up on deck and throws up into the ocean. Wazukyan, the Leader of Vueko’s Explorer Squad, jokingly remarks she is getting quite good at vomiting, but also reassures her they will soon reach their destination: the position Vueko’s compass points to.

When Vueko questions if she really should be the one holding onto the compass, Wazukyan reassures her that she is their guide and one of the Three Sages before exiting the scene to «catch a mouse!». Belaf tells Vueko not to worry and that Wazukyan may be quirky but wants the best for all of their squad. He notes that Wazukyan can really see the future. Vueko, still in self-doubt, asks Belaf if someone as ugly as she should really be allowed to be a Sage of their squad, Ganja. Belaf replies that beauty is subjective, and in the eye of the beholder. He notes that virtues like pressing forward no matter how hard things get is what he thinks is truly beautiful. As such, he thinks Vueko should give herself more credit and encourages her.

As they continue toward their destination, a storm destroys all other ships travelling next to them. Vueko uses the compass to find a solitary island in the middle of nowhere. Wazukyan surmises that the island is where they need to go. They finally reach their destination; the island. Which turns out to be the Abyss.

While on the island, they discover a tribe of natives with whom they exchange information. Belaf notes that previous travelers were violent and cruel, so the natives are reluctant to exchange information. Vueko gives her Star Compass to the natives in exchange for information. Belaf asks her if it is wise to give up her compass, to which Vueko tells him something he told her earlier: «The object of my gaze. lies within the darkness.» She tells Belaf that she wants to go looking for a light that no one else has found.

The crew learns from the natives that the Golden City does indeed exist. It can be found by descending into the giant chasm in the middle of the island, the Abyss, but one cannot ever return to the surface once they have descended.

As they prepare to descend into the hole, they notice a child from the natives has followed them. Upon translating a fresh tattoo on the back of the young girl, Belaf tells the rest of Ganja that she has been «relinquished to the Abyss,» due to her being unable to bear children. Vueko suggests employing her as their guide. The child tries to warn a Ganja member before he climbs a cliff to scout the area. But the man can’t understand her and climbs. He is suddenly hit by the curse of ascending and falls to the ground. Belaf speaks with the child, who is able to abstractly explain what happened. Wazukyan agrees to allow her to be their guide.

As they start delving into the Abyss, Vueko foreshadows the mysteries they saw and the future unexpected developments.

Vueko/Relationships

Contents

Ajapoka

Vueko and Ajapoka both were Ganja members in the past. [1]

Belaf

Back when Vueko still was a sage of Ganja, she used to admire Belaf for his knowledge. He encouraged her when she was doubting herself too much and give her advice when needed. [2]

Faputa

Vueko thought of Faputa in the a similar way of a granddaughter. [3] When Faputa was born, Vueko was relieved as she took it as a sign of Irumyuui not forgiving them after all. [4] When Faputa and Vueko finally met, Vueko was already on the brink of death, due to being affected by the curse, but they managed to have a final conversation in which Faputa told her that seemingly Irumyuui didn’t want to part with the memories of Vueko to the point of not even Faputa having them. After Vueko had died, Faputa felt saddened and confused because Vueko was supposed to belong to her mother and not her. [5]

Ganja Members

Vueko cared for her comrades and also engaged into sexual acts with some of them. [6]

Irumyuui

Due to Irumyuui being abandoned by her tribe, similar to to how Vueko was abandoned, Vueko felt a bond to her and they both quickly grow close to each other. [7] After Irumyuui had completely transformed into the base of Ilblu, Vueko was saddened about not being able to help her and hopes to never forget how Irumyuui was when she was still human. [8]

Pakkoyan

When they both were part of Ganja, Pakkoyan and Vueko were seen to engage into sexual acts on the 6 th layer. [9] When Vueko started losing her humanity, due to having travelled upwards too much after the village boundary started vanishing, she is suddenly saved by Pakkoyan and thrown back down outside the reach of the curse. [10]

Riko rescued Vueko from her imprisonment. [11] Riko helped her to not be discovered in the Ilblu, but Vueko later revealed herself to the villagers. [12] [13] Vueko seems to think of Riko as impressive of how she was able to reach out to so many different people. [14]

Wazukyan

Back when Vueko still was a sage of Ganja, she used to be very close to Wazukyan. He encouraged her when she was doubting herself too much and lead her togther with the other Ganja members. [15] After Wazukyan started to use Irumyuui’s children as source of food and medicine, she lamented not being able to stop him from doing so and ultimtely tried to kill herself when Irumyuui became the base for Ilblu. [16] Wazukyan saved her, but bound her in the place which used to be Irumyuui’s head thinking she would be the happiest there due to it being the closest place to Irumyuui. [17] After them reuniting, Wazukyan took her when Juroimoh began to attack, displayed being worried for her safety, and later on leaped down with her into a creak. [18]

Appearance

Despite being a Narehate, Majikaja’s outside body is artificial, built by a Narehate puppet maker named Jezun, and is made out of many different things gained from trading and bartering. [3] [4] They have a stitched-up sack in the center of their container, made of what looks like various cuttings of fabric. [5]

After the incident with Faputa, Majikaja uses a giant vehicle-like container to transport the others. [6]

Majikaja’s real body is gaseous in form and contained within this sack. [7]

Personality

Majikaja is shown to be friendly and helpful, as they are the first being to greet Riko, Reg, and Nanachi in the 6 th layer. [8] They escort them through the village and explain its value-based economy, and shows genuine interest in and concern for the three. [9] [10] Just as the other inhabitants of Ilblu, they value fair trade and equal exchange. [11]

It can be assumed that Majikaja values scent, due to the claim that their body is formed by smells. [12] This is further supported by how often they reference scent, such as calling Nanachi «good smelling Nanachi», claiming Riko’s scent changed when she grew worried, and continuously sniffing Vueko. [13]

History

Early Life

Whether Majikaja was part of the original group becoming Ilblu’s first inhabitants is, as of yet, unknown.

Ilblu Arc

After Riko’s group tracked the scent of Prushka’s Life Reverberating Stone down and followed foot prints leading to Ilblu, they are approached by Majikaja who leads them to Poriyon; who is working on Prushka in order to bring out her true quality as White Whistle. [14]

While Prushka is being worked on, Majikaja shows them around the village. [15] When the balancing ceremony happens with Maaa, they explain the concept how it works to Riko. [16]

Later on, when Reg goes to investigate the Narehate Princess and Nanachi decides to go and try to buy water and some fruit, Majikaja tags along with Nanachi and reveals in a conversation about value between them that one of the Three Sages of the village, Belaf, is in possession of the supposed-to-be-dead Mitty. Nanachi asks Majikaja to take them to the sage. [17] [18] [10]

Later on, Riko visits the sage since she has been informed to find Nanachi with him and tries to buy them back from Belaf. Just before Riko can make a deal, that would have possible cost her either both her eyes, both her legs or her complete digestive system, Majikaja closes up her mouth and tells her not to be hasty. [19]

In the battle against the Fuzosheppu, Majikaja lets Riko ride on their «Speed Form» to execute her plan and lure the Fuzosheppu into the center of the village. [20]

When Vueko tells her story, Majikaja is also present and is surprised by its revelations. [21]

Both Majikaja and Moogie become a bit sad and nostalgic when Wazukyan says the village is the homeland of the ones with no place to go to, and admit they dream of continuing their adventure in the Abyss. [22]

Majikaja is also present when the conversation between Riko, Wazukyan and the villagers is interrupted by Juroimoh’s attack. [23] After Reg’s battle against Juroimoh, he asks Maaa, Majikaja and Moogie to keep Riko safe, just before Faputa arrives. [24]

Majikaja is later on seen using a huge container to transport the others into the village. Majikaja states that the Narehate that helped them with this massive body is gone now and Riko thanks them for helping them. [6]

After Wazukyan faded away, they are interrupted by sounds in the distance and Majikaja and the other villagers inform them that it is Faputa, calling to them for the first time. As such, they think they will regret it if they don’t follow it as it feels like they would get destroyed if they don’t obey it. [25]

But as they feel like they are the same as Riko, they let her make the final decision on where to head to. Seeing how it is dangerous everywhere, the group decides to go with the villagers. One of the villagers also notes that Vueko should have been with Wazukyan but is nowhere in sight. Reg also questions alarmed if they might have missed her along the way, but Riko says they should be able to catch up to her if she is around because she is not that fast. [26]

As Riko climbs back onto Majikaja, Moogie hands her the part of the letter that was sold at the Ilblu’s Market of Value and tells her that it is a present from her and Majikaja they obtained by trading in a part of Faputa Reg gave them. [27]

Riko thanks them and the group moves onward. [28]

When the village starts to fall apart, Faputa tells Maaa and Majikaja to bring the trio out of the village. [29]

At one point, Majikaja’s container has become completely immovable and, as they embrace their demise due to the village’s destruction, they resolve themselves to at least finish the final request of Faputa. Majikaja exits their container in their true gaseous body and enters Faputa’s body via her mouth who is still unconscious. This causes Majikaja to be able to take control of Faputa’s body and defends the group together from the falling debris as the village comes to its end. While it is not explicitly shown, Majikaja perished with the village. [30]
