About my school

I enjoy learning English, because I like speaking with foreigners when I am abroad on summer holidays. I find Chemistry very interesting as I’ve always been fascinated by the way substances interact.

About my goals

My father has always been telling me that in order to succeed in life one has to have a developed analytical thinking that is why I am keen on working with mathematical problems.

So, if you ask me who I want to be in the future, I will tell you that I want to become a specialist in research and development in a cosmetic company.

About my hobbies and interests

Nevertheless, there are not only studies in my life. In my free time I meet with my friends. We usually go to cinema or to some café and chat over a cup of coffee or tea. I am fond of sports, and I go to a gym on a regular basis where I do aerobics and cardio to keep fit.

Moreover, I like to dance and listen to music. Dancing to my favorite beats, I relax. Dance helps me to express my feelings and emotions. So, I have a very diverse and interesting life.

I also have some close friends. I like going out with them. We are 6 in the company. We enjoy travelling together and going on picnics in summer and skating in winter. My friends also love visiting me because I always bake something delicious.

In my leisure time, I prefer reading and drawing. I also play the piano. It is my hobby. I am keen on music and travelling. I love visiting new places and learning other cultures. I would like to go to Africa in summer to work as a volunteer and get some experience in curing people.

I graduated from Moscow State University, the faculty of journalism. So my job is bound to it. I work as public relations specialist at “Learnathome”. In this position I am responsible for keeping in touch with mass media, such as television and radio channels as well as written media – newspapers and magazines. Apart from work, I am involved in a charity organization “Nochlezhka” which helps homeless people get food and shelter every day.

As for my hobbies, I enjoy skating in winter and roller-blading in all the other seasons. It is a good way both to relax and to keep fit.

My name is Lorraine Swann and I was born in London, England on the second of September 2003. My family is an averaged-sized English family; I have a mother, father and a brother. My mother is a housewife but does some part-time work every morning at the local college of higher education. My father has now retired but he used to work as a research chemist in a pharmaceutical company. My brother’s name is Michael, he is twenty one years old and is at university in Hudderafield. He is studying engineering.

I have just finished St. Ann’s Convent School in Southampton where I obtained four «А» levels. My immediate plans are to go to Manchester University and study Russian because I have always been interested in foreign languages. My mother is Italian so I can speak Italian fluently and I was lucky enough to study both French and German at school. While I was at school I also had the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. For the past two years, while I was at sixth-form college I had a part-time Saturday job in a shop as a sales assistant.
