Mystery Gift Secret Option
There is a Mystery Gift System that allows you to take advantage of Nintendo held events for some really cool additions. To activate this, go to a Poke Mart and find the clipboard near the shopkeeper. Then type in these 4 words: “Link Together With All”. The Shopkeeper will notice this, giving you access to the “Mystery Gift” system. After this, save your game. Before starting next time, you’ll notice a new “Mystery Gift” option in the Main Menu. Here is what you can do with it:
1. Aurora Ticket/Deoxys – At Nintendo Events you will be able to download the Aurora Ticket. This enables you to visit Birth Island, where you can catch Deoxys.
2. Mystic Ticket/Lugia and Ho-Oh – At Nintendo Events you can download the Mystic Ticket. This lets you visit Navel Rock, where you can catch Lugia and Ho-Oh.
Here’s a Video of Ho-Oh Being Caught (thx to TheMasterInPokemon)
How to Unlock Mini-Games on Two Island
You can unlock mini-games on Two Island by saving the Game Corner’s daughter. Once this is done, you’ll be given a package. Once you give the package to the Game Corner guys, you now will have access to several mini-games that you and your friends can play at the Game Corner on Two Island.
Easy Breeding Using Ditto
Here is a trick to make breeding for the Pokemon you want a breeze. To do this trick, simply select the Pokemon of your choice and a Ditto in the DayCare Center. After waiting a bit, the old man will give you an egg that will hatch as whatever Pokemon you put in with Ditto! This makes it so that you don’t need to look around for a female and male Pokemon to breed. A major time savor.
Shiny Pokemon
You can encounter a different color of a normal Pokemon known as a “Shiny Pokemon”. However these are uber rare, and the odds of it happening are 1 out of 8,192! Good luck!
Here is an example of a shiny Entai (thx to AirChairRico)
How to Get to Sabrina in the Saffron City Gym Without Fighting Trainers!
Enter the Saffron City Gym, and step onto the Warp Panel. Now, go:
North, South, South, North, South, North, North, South, South, North, North, North, South, South. You will appear in Sabrina’s room, without having to fight any Trainer battles!
How Lorelei’s Doll Collection Works
Once out of every 24 times you enter the Hall of Fame, Lorelei will add a new doll to the collection in her house on Four Island. After a total of eight dolls have been added, the collection will be complete.
How to Create More Time in the Safari Zone
You only have so much time to catch Pokemon while in the Safari Zone. To make it easier on you, you can do this trick. When standing on any grassy area, simply tap left or right. This should cause you to turn in that direction, without actually moving in that direction. However even though you stood in place, you will still fight random Pokemon! What’s better, your time will not have decreased since you didn’t actually take a step!
Easy Money Tip #2
At the Game Corner in Celadon City, you can easily make 50 free coins by talking to the man at the far right of the Slots. Then talk to the man beside him. Each will give you 20 coins. Finally, talk to the the Fisherman-looking guy on the left side of the Game Corner. He’ll give you another 10 coins for a total of 50 free coins.
How to Find Out Whether a Pokemon Likes You or Not
There is an easy way to determine a Pokemon’s feelings towards you. To do this, use an item like a Potion when outside of battle. During the short intermission sequence, pay attention to the Pokemon’s movement. How far or close it moves to you, determines on whether it likes you or not. If it moves far away, it likes you less. If it does not move at all, it feels neutral towards you.
How to get the Three Unique Attacks
There are three completely unique attacks in Pokemon LeafGreen or FireRed that can only be learned by your starting Pokemon. To learn one of these moves, you must have already gone to the second island, and your Pokemon must have enough trust in you (see the tip above to figure out how much a Pokemon trusts you). Now one of your three starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle) can learn one of the following moves: Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn or Hydro Cannon.
Where to Find the Nugget Item
After you have beaten the Elite Four, visit Three Island. There you will find a miner who is looking for gold in one of the caves. Return to him after being the Elite Four and he’ll give you a gold “Nugget” item. This Nugget can be sold for a very high price!
