Origin
Vaporeon debuted in Japan as the 134th Pokémon in Pokémon Red and Blue on February 27th, 1996. It was introduced to a larger audience with worldwide releases of the game between September and October 1998. Grass and Electric moves are super effective against Vaporeon. Steel, Fire, Water, and Ice moves are not very effective.

When Vaporeon‘s gender is randomly determined, the gender has a one in eight chance to be female, and a seven in eight chance to be male.
Vaporeon has one egg group, field. Vaporeon can breed with opposite gender members of the field egg group, or with Ditto. Breeding a female Vaporeon with any Pok é mon, or a male Vaporeon with a Ditto, results in an Eevee egg.
