The path is constantly shown to you by the Motion Tracker, so it’s impossible to get lost.
Also, the motion tracker is like a red rag to a bull in this game! I’ve played about 3/4 of the game without even using it. The Alien homes in on it and YOU!! Munch, munch 🙂
Perhaps for you, I never attract an Alien to begin with.
Thanks for your answers! Hm, I have mixed feelings right now. Gotta say, that I’m quite easily frustrated in games, when I don’t understand where to go.. I am more of an Open world player, don’t like those «tunnel games» too much (but that depends. Metro 2033 and Last Light, for example, were awesome, and there was literally one direction to go). And if you say, that the game is a master piece and takes like 20 hours to beat. might as well buy it

The reason to buy it is simple. If you like the Alien franchise, this is the best Alien game ever made. I call it Alien:Survival Simulator because that is what it is. Everything you see, hear and touch in the game is genuine. It is taken directly from the movies, it is even considered canon.
I call it Alien:Survival Simulator
Well my views are different i see it as a Realistic Locker Simulator; since you spend a lot of the early part of the game in them! before you get blueprints for decent weapons.
Alien: Isolation
Alien: Isolation
Alien: Isolation
How Long To Beat Alien: Isolation?
Not only is Alien: Isolation one of the best sci-fi horror games ever made, it is also one of the scariest horror games of all time. Period.
Beating the game is difficult, and it may take some time to do so if you’re not used to the gameplay style. Here we discuss how long it takes to beat Alien: Isolation, and also answer other questions that are commonly asked about the game.
How Long to Beat Alien: Isolation?
According to How Long To Beat, Alien: Isolation will take around 25 hours to complete the main story at a leisurely pace.
I have to admit that it took me a lot longer to beat Alien: Isolation, though. Playing on the Normal difficulty setting, it took me around 30 hours to complete the main story, with an extra 2 hours to complete both of the DLCs, Crew Expendable and Last Survivor.
If you’re going for the completionist approach – beating the main story, DLCs, extras, and all trophies – you should expect to spend between 45 and 50 hours.
Either way, Alien: Isolation is a great horror game and you certainly can’t accuse the developers of skimping on the content.
How Hard is Alien: Isolation?
Alien: Isolation is a very difficult game, especially if you play on the game’s recommended difficulty setting of Hard. Depending on how well you cope with horror games, playing on Hard will for certain increase the immersion of the game and allow you to experience it how the developers intended.
For me, Hard was a bit too much, so I wimped out and opted for the Normal setting. If you want to just get a taste for the game without worrying about it being too difficult, there are Easy and Novice modes. Conversely, if you want to get a bit crazy, try beating the game on Nightmare mode, though be warned that there is no map and your motion tracker will malfunction on occasion.
Overall, Alien: Isolation is one of the more difficult horror games around, but that also adds to its replay value. Once you;ve
Is Alien: Isolation Scary?
Alien: Isolation is one of the scariest game horror games around on all platforms, but it’s not scary in a typical horror game way. The jump scares aren’t gonna come out and get like they do in Amnesia or Resident Evil 7, for example, but the sense of atmosphere and dread that Isolation creates is unparalleled.
The tension created through the soundtrack and visuals will constantly have you on tenterhooks, and if you’re not used to horror games, you might find that you’ll want to take a break after a while.
The horror in Isolation is a slow burning type of horror that will keep you thoroughly engaged as you try to tiptoe and maneuver your way around the alien and the mortal danger it brings. For horror aficionados, Alien: Isolation is a must try.
