New animations for the UMPs and changes to the sk1 variant and normal variant.

NEW ANIMATIONS FOR UMPs!!
UMP = no Foregrip/Tritium Sight
UMP sk1 = Foregrip + Tritium Sight (Thanks to Strogglet15 for helping me out on figuring it out

The Base gamedata folder contains the LTX with vanilla repose (0.4 HUD FOV) which will look very weird on higher FOVs, Thanks to sneakydud, he has provided me with a patch for EFT Repose, just overwrite the file with the one from [HUDFOV 0.6] EFT Repose.

The Vanilla Repose is included just in case.

Applied new third person positions to the guns thanks to NDTwoFives

I used JSRS for the weapon shoot sounds in the showcase video, along with a whole bunch of other addons, so your experience might not probably be the same as mine.

Sounds were grabbed from Insurgency Sandstorm, but they are pretty bare-bones just so as to have them be in sync with the animations. I assigned the new sounds within the weapon’s own LTX instead so that other mods that write on weapon_sounds.ltx don’t get conflicts.

Big thanks to Asnen_AWT on helping me with the idle hand pose and the walk cycle and to Souvlakii for patiently giving me feedback and tips, when I didn’t even know what a graph editor was.

A lot of people helped me out on creating the addon. Cr3pis for helping me on how icons are done, Qatapro for showing me the basics of the SDK, nignog on figuring out sounds and the list goes on, If I did forget anyone do let me know ^^

This mod is no longer maintained. Any issues you encounter won’t be fixed, but you should be able to do so yourself, or someone else can patch it I suppose. And so it was, that 1.5.1 has graced the internet. With it’s release so do I update my mod. This time as a all in one pack. Everything is here. So come over and take what you want be it binoculars, knives, bolts or pistol sprinting.

Not gonna say much here. Just some easy re-animations/tweaks I done for u4h8 ported to 1.5.1 with one new goodie, a re-made vanilla Knife animation, and for those nostalgic for original bolt I ported Call of Pripyat bolt animations.
This pack contains all of my previous addons. Also included config files for Binocular tagging.
Hotfix Update: Changed name of the bolt animation file to stop the game from loading old bolt animations when trying to use alternate equip anim.

Update 1: Added alternate pistol sprint animation. Link to a vid below 🙂 Also updated all folders to be in gamedata instead of being loose to avoid confusion while installing.

Update 2: Hey guess what. New Knife anims. This time attack only. Woo

Update 3: Updated knife sprint (smoother and less stiff). Due to request I opened up the clenched hands in binocular and pistol sprint animations. I apologize to any ripped tendons this might have caused.

Update 4: Completely new never seen before bolt re-animation that gives classic bolt a new life. Inspired by gunslinger and completely made from scratch. Check out the video below for how it looks like in action 🙂 I will make an update to make the idle look more interesting as right now it’s pretty basic due to me experimenting with making complete animations.
Additonally I included a bunch of hud_fov 0.45 locked files as an option in case you want to use the pack with position and view addon.
Speaking of Position and view. Included in this new version is PistolRedo pack, which was made with PaV in mind. You can use it with Blindside’s animations too, but you NEED to let blindside files overwrite mine. Otherwise you will encounter issues. There are some other features in that pack which you’ll find when you check out screenshots that come along with it 😉
I also included my detector position tweak. You can see it’s effects in comparison screenshots included in the 7z file.

Update 5: Smoother walking animation. Additional idle with some small bolt rotation with thumb (it can play either old or new and it’s very subtle so you might not notice it)
New bolt throw animation. It’s based heavily on Shadow of Chernobyl bored animation. It might look a bit rough, but I tried to make it as smooth as possible.

Update 6: Updated walk cycle for bolt. New sprinting for pistol, knife and bolt animations. Should feel less like the character is flailing their hands around. New knife equip and hide animations. Swapped cement position tweaks for specifically edited OMF animation files. Included versions for both latest release and new beta release. Removed hud_fov locks due to potential issues and made EFT Binoculars hud_fov locked to 0.45 by default (remove hud_fov = 0.45 in m_binoc.ltx file if you want to revert that). Reverted flashlight position to vanilla in detector re-done pack. HOTFIX: Fixed flashlight aiming.

Update 7: Not too many changes. I brought back the pistol lowered pack since people requested it. There are two versions, for vanilla Anomaly hud_fov 0.45 and if you use Position and View hud_fov 0.55 (should be compatible with 2.0 but I didn’t test it. Might look weird with hud_fov 0.7 so I’d recommend just grabbing sprinting omf file for it instead)
Also in this pack I include the new blindside animation replacer. It’s compatible with both normal version and Blindside Reanimated Repositioned (Gallus Viewmodels).
REPOSITIONS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BLINDSIDE ANIMATIONS! TRYING TO USE THEM WILL CAUSE THE WEAPON TO NOT SHOW UP AND YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO SHOOT IT!

Known bugs: When holding a detector the bolt bore animation will still play. Should be fixed in next Anomaly update if devs disable bore animations when holding detectors. Also EFT Binoculars cause a weird animation glitch with gasmask wipe. Don’t know what’s causing it.

honestly even though the animation quality is slightly better than the original the only part about it that makes it useful is that it lets you cancle the animation by opening your inventory so youre not sitting there for 20+ seconds holding your peenus while the animation finishes. if it werent for that id just use the original animations because you cant use this with the weed animation addon. granted you almost never come across weed and its in game effects are no where near as commonly needed as a general rad item like cigarettes. tbh someone should make weed give both a slight psy resist and reduce rads.

I feel like the cigarettes are more of a «use at the campfire» sort of thing rather than an «oh **** I’m way too irradiated» sort of item. The pair best with eating some irradiated food and smoking/drinking to get your rads back down.

Some people like to smoke for immersion or roleplay after a tough firefight or something. Its not that crazy to think someone would want this clearly high quality animation without giving up their chill cigarette rp time.

Is this incompatible with this walk animation addon (Re-made Animations: Moddb.com) that I’m using? It looks like yours could supplement it.

Though I only see item_use, item_use_fast, item_use_slow animations in conflict on MO2 mod manager, I assume animations files need a script to execute or something, could this be a conflicting point?

My addon doesn’t affect the walking animation, I think everything will be fine

This is such a nice addon, especially for anyone like me who has iron sights zoom factor set to the lowest setting (so theres no zoom in when you ads without a scope). Seeing the camera shake just a bit when the gun is raised is aweome, thanks for the addon! 10/10

Great addon 10/10 do you think you could add a very subtle camera movement when switching fire mode since there is no actual animation for it, combined with General Fire Mode Switcher Sound by TheVoidPancake I think it could be a nice little addition

HOLY MONOLITH! Great work, man! I really love the camera animations, especially the one when you change clothes! The default one was so bad to look at. And the butt kick one where the player shakes his head at the end, that was great!

Re-enables and slightly tweaks animations from FOOD, DRUG AND DRINKS ANIMATIONS V0.8.6.8E.1 [1.5.1]. All animations and their files were already existing in the original FDDA addon, I only re-enabled them. Adds food animation to Russian Rations, Ukrainian Rations, and MREs Also adds food animation to Pack of Old Meat. You are now eating a rat. All credit goes to the original Animators and to Feel_Fried for the most amazing addon for Anomaly ever.

Food, Drug, & Drink Animation: MRE/RATION AND RAT ANIMATIONS. NO NEW GAME REQUIRED. Compatible with all addons that are compatible with FDDA.

REQUIRES FOOD, DRUG AND DRINKS ANIMATIONS V0.8.6.8E.1 [1.5.1]. TO RUN [FDDA ORIGINAL ADDON HERE]

Re-enables already existing animations in FDDA and tweaks them slightly for better animation.

I DID NOT ANIMATE ANYTHING AND TAKE NO CREDIT FOR ANYTHING. All credit goes to Feel_Fried for his amazing addon.

TO MERGE WITH ANY OTHER FDDA ADDON:

Go to gamedata\configs\items\items\anims_list.ltx and insert the following text (REMOVE ANY OTHER MENTION OF [ration_ru], [ration_ukr], [mre], and [kolbasa]).
