Dragon how to train your dragon games
Dragon how to train your dragon games
The “How to Train Your Dragon” Video Games
What fan of How to Train Your Dragon wouldn’t want to interact with or even ride one of the dragons? Especially the Night Fury Toothless from the movie franchise. Well, the closest you’ll probably ever get is to play a console/PC video game or “Massively multiplayer online role-playing game” (MMORPG) over the Internet.
Note that the “free to play” games available, like most others of their kind, require either lots of time spent playing to earn rewards, or “upgrade” purchases with real money.
Lots of kids these days are getting addicted to video games, and especially MMORPGs and “free to play” games. Many are spending all their pocket money (or parent’s money) on upgrades, missing out on school, becoming physically ill and so forth. However, in moderation (just like most things), video/online games can be quite fun. Keep an eye out for invasive privacy policies with online games.
The paid PC/console games can be played without further payments/microtransactions, which is good.
The following games can still be played, but (mostly) defunct games are not listed:
Dreamworks Dragons: Dawn of New Riders
Graphics-wise, the game has a chibi-style rather than aiming for realism. It’s mostly a dungeon crawler adventure game without much flying. The story of the game attempts to explain and tie in some events between the second and third movies, the “School of Dragons” MMORPG, TV series and even graphic novels.
Some reviews have mentioned that while these tie-ins were noticed, they didn’t really contribute to the overall Dragons story in a serious way.
Generally seems to be regarded as a fun little game, that won’t take long to complete.
(Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC)
Dragons: Titan Uprising
(Google Play, iTunes)
Dragons: Rise of Berk
A “village-building” game by Ludia, once again praised for its quality graphics and artistry, but appears to share much of the criticism regarding “Titan Uprising”.
It’s apparent that a lot of work went into creating this game, and although having been launched in 2014, it continues to be upgraded with new features and content.
According to long-time players’ reviews, actual money is required to make solid progress further into the game. (This is common with so-called “free-to-play” games.)
(Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Appstore, Facebook)
How to Train Your Dragon
(Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo DS)
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Much in the same vein as the previous game, however has made some attempts to improve on its predecessor’s flaws. Still received a number of poor reviews, and essentially remains a collection of mini-games.
Still. you get to fly Toothless as Hiccup! Maybe it takes an actual fan to overlook the game’s weaknesses.
(Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3)
DreamWorks Super Star Kartz
A go kart racing game with DreamWorks Animation characters, where Toothless actually sits in one of the karts! Where else can you ride a go kart as Toothless? You can also ride as Hiccup, if you want.
Once again, the reviews weren’t especially good for this game and apparently it does have some annoying bugs here and there, but people did manage to enjoy it for what it is.
Toothless riding a go kart?! Hahah!
(Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, PlayStation 3)
School of Dragons
However it’s certainly popular, had a lot of work put into it and continues to receive regular content updates.
(Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Appstore, Facebook, PC/Mac with Unity 3D browser plugin)
HiccupTheViking.com
You can find games related to the original book series by Cressida Cowell as well. These are little interactive games on the HiccupTheViking.com website. You’ll need the Adobe Flash plugin installed on your web browser.
These little games aren’t like the ones from the movie franchise, that have had tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on them.

Dive into a New Adventure with the Sliquifier
Despite its small size, the Sliquifier is an incredibly powerful and fierce companion. While many have noted this dragon’s swiftness across any terrain, Vikings will commonly stand in awe as they watch the Sliquifier glide through water. Darting through seas at torpedo-like speed ensures that no prey is safe from its glowing and acid-powered blasts.
The Sliquifier’s fin-shaped wings not only give it the ability to whirl quickly through water, but also help it soar with great acceleration and speed. Once you get close to this Captain of the ocean, make sure to spot the small fin lining its neck. A subtle feature, but one that gives the Sliquifier a striking look while flying among its fellow winged companions on campus.
And although the Sliquifier is a slow shooter, it is able to use its speed to make its powerful blasts even more of a threat. While the acid emitted from the Sliquifier makes it a danger to any prey, its alarming speed is what makes it truly more deadly.

It’s build and abilities allow it to thrive in both the shallows and deep ends of bodies of water. This dragon is. the MUDRAKER, a brand-new dragon unique to the School!
Mudrakers love being in water, and while they have a fierce appearance and the behavior of a deadly alligator, these dragons are actually very playful and fun to be around! Mudrakers enjoy having fun, especially in the water, and are known to push Vikings into the water or splash mud on their trainers! Mudrakers can also use echolocation through sound-waves to find its friends and foes deep within the dark crevices of the marshes, their thick hides give them a lot protection from other deadly animals that lurk in the waters!
Murakers are fun-loving and easygoing dragons that offer Vikings an awesome training experience! Give yourself the relaxing but rewarding experience of training one of these brilliant and playful creates ONLY at School of Dragons!
Never Before Seen Dragon- The MOLDRUFFLE!
After seeing the Moldruffle in action, you will learn about how it has adapted to thrive in the vast expanses of the desert with its sharp long-range vision and aerodynamic build. With the great distances it’s been known to travel, this dragon has developed a unique way of communicate with others of its kind. In fact, Hiccup was able to discover that Moldruffles sharp horns are more than just weapons! Their horns resonate a pure sound when struck and are used send massages to their dragon kin.
And that’s not the only way this dragon edges out the competition. Moldruffles have been known to gather fire on the edges of their wings and tail, using their fan-like tail to strengthen the blazing flames. Imagine the terror of seeing a fiery inferno diving at a prey with incredible speed and precision!
But fear not, the Moldruffle, while a hunting master, is incredibly catlike in nature. Its keen senses are quickly distracted, switching its focus from one thing to another. These playful dragons are incredibly intelligent and curious, making them one of the most challenging yet rewarding dragons to train! Can you brave the heat and train one of these spectacular creatures? Get your very own ONE-OF-A-KIND MOLDRUFFLE egg ONLY at School of Dragons!
Kiss the Hail Goodbye and Welcome the WOOLLY HOWLS!
It was a typical day for Astrid and Stormfly as they soared through sky, above the glistening ocean. The sun was shining and the weather was PERFECT, until all of a sudden big, huge chunks of hail started pouring from above! This was very unusual weather for SoD, and Astrid needed to get to the bottom of it! As she and Stormfly flew higher and higher, you would never guess what they discovered.
Astrid raced back to campus and presented us with the WOOLLY HOWL! We all thought that this Strike Class dragon would be an amazing addition but it took the Headmaster awhile to become convinced. He thought that if we accepted the Woolly Howls, they would bring horrible weather and too much hail to campus, but that is why they need YOU, Vikings!
Head on over to Johann’s Trading Post, TODAY! Start training these amazing dragons to behave and act like the responsible dragons they are bound to be!

Disguise yourself with the Sand Wraith
Have you ever thought about how cool it would be to become camouflage with the ground or the trees, or even the sky?! It’s amazing how that is even possible!
My fellow SoD administrators and I recently took a fishing trip to get some more food for our hungry dragons. We were all laughing and having a good time, until Bucket took one step and something moved below him. Come to know it was the infamous SAND WRAITH!
Finally, the School of Dragons have found the Sand Wraith and brought them back to campus! The Sand Wraith always caught the attention to most of us here at the School of Dragons but, they are always so hard to find because they camouflage and bury themselves in the sand.
These Tidal class dragon eggs are available to be purchased at Johann’s Trading Post, TODAY! Pick one up and who knows, maybe they will teach you a thing or two about blending in.
Make Some Mischief with the Scuttleclaw!
As you may know, the Bewilderbeasts are very powerful dragons that take control over all dragons. Did I say all dragons? I meant to say all dragons except for one. THE SCUTTLECLAW!
You might be fooled, but underneath all that cuteness, are little trouble-makers, waiting to cause more mischief. The Scuttleclaw’s behavior does not sit well with the Bewilderbeast, and with lots of rage and anger, the Bewilderbeast capture the playful Scuttleclaws. After being trapped in the Dragon Den under the Alpha’s watchful eye for a couple days, the Scuttleclaws found a way to escape and found their way into the School of Dragons!
We believe that having the Scuttleclaws join us on campus will teach them how to obey and respect other people, even though their cuteness might fool you. Since you all are experienced, brave Vikings, here is your chance to train and grow your own Scuttleclaw to make them into the dragons they deserve to be!
So make your way to Johann’s Trading Post where you’ll find all new FRESH Scuttleclaw eggs, ready to be hatched and trained!
Rise to Great Heights with the Tide Glider!
What seemed like the perfect chopping day quickly turned sour when Gobber tripped over a tree stump in the Wilderness. Thankfully, he only had a few scratches, but definitely needed something to heal them fast.
Even though Gobber quickly got his scratches all covered up, we all had the same thought. wouldn’t it be great to have a dragon that can instantly heal wounds? Hiccup informed us all that a dragon with mystical healing powers does exist and it goes by the name of the TIDE GLIDER!
This Tidal Class dragon has the ability to heal anything with its saliva. Sounds disgusting but wouldn’t you rather have a wound healed with saliva then ache with pain for a few days?
Don’t miss out on having your own personal wound healer by picking up a Tide Glider egg today!

Making a striking entrance, the Screaming Deaths are here to stay!
A long, long time ago, it was noted that the Screaming Death only hatches every 100 years. Well this note seems to be right.
One beautiful day, Hiccup and Astrid (Hicstrid) decided to take a little stroll when Astrid tripped over what seemed to be an egg. They both examined this egg looking rock and it turns out that it was an egg all along. Every step they took, kept finding more and more eggs and without hesitation, they started picking them up. After gathering them all, with a little help from Toothless and Stormfly, they returned back campus and gathered a meeting for all of us, SoD staff, to attend. We all thought it would be best if Heather took a look at the eggs before we made any conclusions on what type of dragon egg it could be. With lots of research, it was clear that these were Screaming Death eggs, which could also be confused to a Whispering Death egg. It has been about 100 years since the last Screaming Death eggs were hatched, so its about that time again!
Help us welcome the SCREAMING DEATH back to earth! This dragon is one of the BIGGEST dragons that we have had in SoD and we couldn’t be more excited welcome them into our family! It has the ability to attack with fireballs, sink islands, and fly right through sea stacks, which could help any of you Vikings in tough situations! Helpful tip-keep your Screaming Death happy by exposing them to bright light.
If you hear a loud shriek, that my friend, is indeed a Screaming Death.
Spark the flame with the 20th SoD dragon. The Fireworm Queen!
5, 4, 3, 2. you know what that countdown means! Are you ready for an all new year with an all new dragon?! With New Years right around the corner, we, the SoD staff came together to discuss our BIG New Years gathering. Planning this event was a breeze, until we forgot the ultimate New Years tradition. FIREWORKS! Since School of Dragons is a place for dragon training, we thought it would be best to involve some of our dragons to help us ring in the New Year! After weeks of exchanging ideas, we finally came up with what we thought was the BEST idea yet!
The FIREWORM QUEEN is coming to help us kick this party off right! The Headmaster wanted to use a Fireworm Queen for its fireworks-like flame breath, but after days of thought and deliberation, we all decided that they would be a great addition to the SoD family! Changewings Have Taken Charge Through Campus
The HIGHLY requested dragon, the CHANGEWING, has finally touched based. Our very own Fishlegs has some history with the Changewing and let’s just say, the two did not get off to a very good start.
The story, as you may know, tails all the way back to “Riders of Berk,” when Fishlegs accidentally picked up some Changewing eggs. Fishlegs realized what he had picked up and wanted to return the eggs immediately to where they belonged. After being put back safe and sound, the Changewings turned invisible and started to attack Fishlegs and Snoutlout. This caused Snoutlout to steal some eggs to auction off, which obviously did not make the dragons very happy.
To this day, Fishlegs still feels very guilty about the whole situation and the only way to make it up to them is if these Changewing eggs get to the hands of experienced and loyals Vikings, like yourselves! These Mystery class dragons have the ability to change their colors and even become invisible! They will protect you by shooting acid out of their bodies, which will burn through anything it touches!
Changewings work great as a team and with your training abilities, there is no doubt that you will be the most unstoppable duo around.

The Bond: Dragons and Trainers
Anyone who knows anything about dragons knows that there is nothing quite like the bond between a dragon and its Viking trainer. This deep bond is one based purely on trust, bravery, and unrivaled friendship.
For this very reason, much care is given to matching each Viking to their most compatible type of dragon when they arrive to the School of Dragons. Like the bond shared by Hiccup and Toothless, Astrid and Stormfly or Fishlegs and Meatlug, the Vikings from DreamWorks’ How to Train your Dragon show us that trainers need to be able to put complete trust in their Dragons and believe that they can count on them for almost anything.
With the proper training, your dragon might be exactly what you need to level up and complete the most daring of quests at the School of Dragons.
Challenge your Time Management Skills with an all-new Farm Feature
Tending your Farm just got a lot more challenging and exciting! A new crop withering feature has been added to your crops in your farm. Learn how to control the amount of planting you do and create a schedule so that you can harvest a bounty of crops to stock up and be ready for the chilly winter months in Berk. Can you manage your time effectively and master the necessary farming skills to become an elite dragon trainer? Log into School of Dragons, today, and step up your game!
Dragon Leveling Guide
Everyone was excited with the introduction of multiple dragons per rider. I was tired of switching accounts (and trophy amounts) just to ride something different. I quickly picked up a new dragon. Hambo the thunderdrum quickly won my heart over, despite being my second dragon. He was tiny and chubby. He won all the ladies hearts. But, there was one problem. He was tiny.
We wanted to fly together. Race together. That was impossible with the tiny wings he showed off. He could fly by himself, but there was no way he could support my heavy Viking body. He was only level 1.
He is now a strong healthy level 20. It wasn’t easy to level him up, since I had already finished all the player quests. That’s why I am publishing this guide. I did discover some easy tricks and tips that I’d like to share you all of you. I leveled Hambo up in a span of only three days. You could do it even quicker with this guide.
There are a few things you can do when preparing for a new arrival. Even if you already have a dragon waiting for the experience, these things will help you level up your dragon.
Eat Mostly Eggs
Dragons will gain experience when eating. Therefore, we will need food to feed them. Fish will fill the most hunger, but they actually don’t fill the most experience. While I was training Hambo, I found eggs filled the most experience. This might be due to the amount needed to fill a dragon’s hunger bar. This method is expensive though. Each egg will cost about 10 coins [Non members].
Use the Automatic Fisher
Each farm has an automatic fisher hidden to the right of the entrance. It costs 5 worms to run and takes 24 hours. Once it is finished, the basket will sparkle. You can harvest it for a random amount of fish. This will give you fishing experience and ultimate dragon points. It will also give you random amounts of fish and eels without wasting precious time.
Have a Stable Ready
This tip doesn’t have much to do with raising the dragon. It is just a reminder that if you have more than two dragons, you will need to buy a stable before getting another dragon.
Get Gems
While it is not needed, gems will give you a major boost in this game. It will allow you to get more stables and more dragons. If you plan on adopting a second or third dragon, you will most likely need gems. You get 500 when becoming a member, but you can buy them separately as well. I get most of my gems from account referrals [50 Per Registration] and playing often [8 Every Fifth Day].
These methods are simple and can be used at any dragon level. They are just in this category because they can be used from the first level. Since your dragon can not yet fly, these methods are very simple. You should be able to quickly level them up this way.
Quests
While this guide is mostly for people that have finished all the member quests, it is worth mentioning that your dragon will gain experience from doing quests. When new quests are released, be sure to finish them with the dragon you want to level up. It might take longer, since your dragon cannot yet fly, but it is the only way to give them the experience.
Animal Farming
Farming will give your dragon a lot of experience. This includes animal and plant farming. Since I feed my dragons mostly chicken eggs, farming chickens makes the most sense. Chickens take 25 minutes to lay their eggs. I have four chickens, four sheep, and two yaks. These are harvested often when my dragons need experience.
Trader Quests
Farming animals will cost you a ton of money. I offset these costs by doing plant farming quests. I usually choose four quests and compile the plants needed for all four quests. I buy all the seeds, plant all the plants and set alarms on my phone to harvest them. If you forget about the plants, you lost a lot of money. You can also sell the animal products. I sell my wool and milk when the quests come up, but rarely sell my eggs. Do not bother with elderberry quests. The cost is barely worth it with how often you have to check back to harvest the bushes.
The Eel Method
This method seems mean, but it will actually level up your dragon really quickly. The point of this method is to boost the rate you can play with and feed your dragon. You feed your dragon eels to lower the happiness. You can then play with the magnifying glass to raise the happiness. When the happiness is raised, you receive more experience points. You can also feed the dragon after, since it lost energy playing. This will earn you more experience. Repeat the process over and over.
Cut Wood in the Wilderness
While I haven’t had a chance to test this method, cutting wood will give you and your dragon experience. The dragon will need to fetch the wood as well, which will lower its energy. This gives you another chance to feed the dragon.
Play the Science Game
When you’re getting tired of the other methods, it is best to take a small break. I took my breaks while playing the science game. This game is great to play because it earns experience for your dragon. My goal was to beat my friend’s high scores. I never beat them, but it gave me a reason to keep pushing my dragon’s experience up.
Shooting Fire Pits
You can blast fire pits for experience. If your dragon is still a baby, just manually walk up to the fire pit. Your dragon will gain 5 points, while you gain 5 experience and 5 coins. This method is very slow.
You can now ride your dragon. This will open up a few opportunities for you. You can now ride, glide on and fire off your dragon. While the old methods are still recommended, there are a few new things you can do.
Flight Club
Now that your dragon can glide, it can do the gliding levels in flight club. Make sure you complete them all to earn some quick experience. While completing them all, you’ll need to stop to feed your dragon a few times. This will give you experience from the food as well.
Fireball Frenzy
I didn’t play this game much while leveling up Hambo, since I find it less fun since the recent update with powerups. That does not mean it is bad though. It just means it isn’t for me. Try the game yourself. You earn experience from playing, earn trophies when winning and will get to feed your dragon for more experience. It will be slow leveling, but you earn trophies and points at the same time.
Flight Club
Now that your dragon can fly, you can complete the flight levels. There aren’t many, but it will earn you some quick experience. It will also give you the chance to learn to control the dragon, since each dragon moves differently.
Thunderdrum Racing
You can now play Thunderdrum Racing, though you won’t be as fast as the higher level dragons. This game will get you experience, but you might not earn many trophies. Hambo and I placed around 3rd or 4th when we played this game. He is now fully grown and usually places 1st or 2nd. It helps if you know the courses well and have experiences flying with your dragon. This will give you an advantage when knowing when to turn and making split decisions. Some dragons are better than others at this game.
While none of these methods are perfect, they will help you a lot. In the end, this is only a game. The point is to have fun. If you are getting frustrated at your progress, take a break. When you return, you’ll be ready to work with your beloved dragon again.
If you have any other methods, post them below to help others.
Good job on the guide. If I ever get another dragon I will refer back to this 🙂
Welcome to my siggy! On the forums, my username is hrepetti, but you can call me Brynhildd. That’s my viking name. I’ve been a viking on SOD for about seven. Thus, I have grown attached to this game and the fandom. Please, enjoy your stay here in my siggy and have a wonderful day!

One year anniversary (6/27) for this forum account, yayyy
Fifth dragon. I wish I had enough jewels. I’m working now to refer enough people to get a new stable, so that I can adopt a third dragon.
I have 13 now, 2 Nadders, 2 Gronkles, 2 Skrills, 2 Monsters, 2 Thunder, 1 Zippleback, 1 Night Fury, and 1 Whisper.
Its hard to choose who to ride! And I still have 3 of them who are baby’s I will refer to this guide with them. Oh and one minor problem, your baby dragon can shoot the fire pits when young, instead of riding on them and hitting the fire buttun you have to hit the firepit manuealy.
This is a now dead account by an old forum user and member of Swift Champions. Move along, move along.
Splendid! Splendid! 😀 You are one of my new favorite person. I need million of dragonnn
you don’t earn xp shooting fire pits anymore.
Name: Oliver S-K Huntsman. (or Master. Whichever works)
Persona: Im an emo, suicidal, nerd-freak. I will not hesitate to rip you apart if you merely lay a FINGER on my friends
Im in a lazy mood right now, so I dont feel like putting too many images. *sigh* I’ll try though.
Thunder. Son of Poseidon
Thunder is freaking cool. Anyone who disagrees, come speak to me.
Marg. Shes awesome AF. Again, any problems, speak to me. (Dont mess with her. She’ll punch you in the gut.) She’s also one of the coolest beings alive. ☺️
Hahh 😀 all dem dragons are from my hardworking moneys that I gets. Good luck on your refering!
On side-note maybe you can help me decide which dragon should I get?
I’m not even sure which dragon I’ll be getting next. My current favorite is my thunderdrum. I also have a whispering death, but he’s much harder to control. I have an extra whispering death egg too from the random chest I bought. I really wish I could gift that thing.
I just saw you and your thunderdrum at thunder-run. you and your orange thunderdrum have impressive speed :3 I was thinking of getting zipperback or thunderdrum next. or even second skrill
You saw me? *Blushes* He’s pretty impressive. He’s my second dragon but he became my favorite quickly. We love racing together. Right now I’m trying to join The Snow Leopards, but we need to earn 1000 trophies first. We currently have 834 trophies. Hopefully we’ll get there soon.
If you don’t mind, I’d love to add you! You can message me your friend code if you want.
O.m.g I am in progress into joining snow lepoard right now *squeals* The Elders are talking about it right now I already met requirements, Sure! lemme find it and I’ll message you. It would be lovely to have friends with slimilar interests. and yeah, we raced together once, that was when I saw you, after the race, I rushed to forum to post about it, you were in fourth place tho 😛 and the setting was trench dive.
New stabes only cost 4.99 and you will still have some left of gems to help with the dragon
Enough with the SPAM
for oh for, dragon not found.
Don’t make Toothless angry
Thanks for your great advice and sharing your experience, hazel-nutty. I actually am new and have 5 dragons, too. When I went on daily the mystery chests piled up in my backpack. Once I figured out what they were, 3 turned out to be dragon eggs chests, that I later hatched. Since then, most mystery boxes contain just one egg and a bunch of stuff I don’t care much about.
Wow. This is a really useful and detailed guide! Thank you (:
I like poking things with a stick.

The automatic Fisher
I think the fishing thing in the garden is Members-only
You can still shoot firepits even if you can’t ride your dragon. You click on the firepit then a fire Icon will pop up. Click on that then your dragon will fire at it. You still get XP from that.
«So that’s how you’re going to play this game, eh game!?»
Thanks, I’ve moved the Fire pit method to the 1-4 level section. I’m unsure about the automatic fisher though. I was a member, but it expired. I’ve been using it even since my membership expired.
I am not a member. I cannot find the automatic fisher. Guess I will have to try the wood cutting. My Nightmare dragon, Kymerth, is lvl 8. How much do these dragons eat at this level? Can’t seem to keep dragon fed enough.

Thank you xZestyx All My Dragon level is 20 Thank you Again
Long before you posted this topic, I had stuck to mostly Element Match and Fire Pits. I did enter Fireball Frenzy and Thunder Run a few times, when I get tired of the two, and to get a handful of experience faster.
The fastest I maxed out my dragon is about 10 hours from point of hatching, and that honour goes to Maulton, my Gronckle. XD
TYVM for this post. Made my new Thunderdrum lv10 easier. Did cut some woods and made it very fast than doing the science game which is not giving me chests.

Thank you so much for the dragon leveling techniques! This is definitely a good tactic for trainers with multiple dragons!
Or if you’re like me, you’re the crazy dragon lady with 15+ dragons, not including eggs not hatched.
Awesome sauce pictures coming soon. (Prolly not)
I’m glad this guide helped you. I currently have one of every dragon except the nightmare.
all you have to do is cut wood, you don’t even need to feed your dragon.
ignore the voice saying your dragons energy is too low ti pick that up and just keep cutting.
you’ll be able to train your dragon to level 10 within 1.5-2 hours

Black Death’s backstory:
Black death and I were buddys for years now. We both love the wilderness and ocean at the school. Every few days we would visit gothis’s hut. One day, we were flying across the ocean counting narwhals, when suddenly, A Screaming death flew up from the rocks below and snapped at black death. I thought that it missed but, it bit his leg off. We fell out of the sky. I cried for help. Soon, Hiccup arrived and took us back to berk. I rush to gobber to see what he could do but, he was somehow out of metal! Luckily, he had spare wood so he could fix it up. Although, he is not as good at painting. He missed some spots and got a few wrong hues but overall, i didn’t care. As long as Black Death could walk and fly.

Out of my nine dragons, only two of them are above level 10. So this is rather helpful!
Yesterday I hatched a skrill and a gronckle and leveled them up to flying age within that day by doing alchemy adventure during baby stage, then by gliding and shooting fire pits. I would glide, from the taxi platform that you are supposed to use for gliding then onto the landing platform. There I would stop and shoot the fire pit at the small camp. Then I would fly to the small platform with all the caves, shoot the campfire there then go down to the geyser. I would shoot the small fire by the path. After that I got on the geyser and used it to fly to the landing platform. On the way back to the taxi platform I would shoot the fire by the forest. At last I would hit the fire on that small spit of land by the lake, and then go do it again. It may seem long but it’s actually very effective.

She is an elegant dragon who is very mature, and loves to fly at night, swooping under the silver moon and stars. When she uses magic, the jewel on her head glows with strange power.
My beautiful Aquaborealis! Here is her story.
Narrated by Iridia:
I swam through the waters by the viking island. It was a barren place, filled with spiky rocks and little greenery. I swam through the mouth of the cove where the vikings kept their boats, a harbor I believe. My tail propelled me along quickly, slicing through the chilly water. I swam around one of the rocks, and popped my head up on the other side. I was curious about these vikings. Their thoughts were so different from those of an Aquaborealis, all loud and darting from one thing to another. Kind of like a school of minnows. Cautiously, I watched the vikings. So caught up in staying hidden from the vikings on land, I didn’t watch behind me. A net was thrown over me suddenly, and I whipped around. Vikings had snuck up on me and I was now trapped! Futily, I struggled against the net, even diving under the water to try and break free there. It was no use. A viking with a wiry black beard raised an axe over my head. I stared up at it in fear, and shrank back in the net. Before the axe fell, another viking, a teenager, ordered «Stop! What do we have here?» He put one boot on me, leaning on the butt of his axe. «This is a new type of dragon!» He exclaimed. «Keep it here overnight. In the morning, I will add its skull to my collection!» He ordered triumphantly. The vikings drove iron nails through the net, pinning it to the rock. All the while, I struggled until one of them threatened to drive a nail through my tail. Then I stopped struggling, and prepared for a long night.
Azura’s (My viking) POV:
I flew through the storm, on the back of my skrill Spark. Expertly, she rode the tangled air currents, but fighting against the elements was a futile endeavor. Ahead, I spotted Berserker Island. It wasn’t my favorite place, ever since I had almost died there a couple times, but we had to wait out the storm. «Take us down girl» I said, patting Spark’s neck. She folded her wings, and dove, landing on a rocky ledge above the harbor. I dismounted, and walked over to the edge, kneeling so I wouldn’t be seen. Far below, I could see a blue and purple dragon of a kind I had never seen before, not even heard about, imprisoned half in, half out of the water in a net. «I wonder what that dragon is?» I said to myself. Looking closer, I heard two vikings talking not far below. «Well, tomorrow Daggur will have that dragon’s skull mounted on his wall. Pity really. Its so beautiful and gentle.» Daggur was going to kill that beautiful dragon! I had to help, to rescue it. My best chance would be once it was en route to the arena. «Tomorrow, Spark, we are going to rescue that dragon» I said, looking back at my companion. She stared at me, as if saying «Good. I don’t like Daggur any more than you do.» I walked over to my friend, and pulled a blanket from her saddle bag. Curling up at the base of the cliff, I fell asleep.
In the morning, once the storm blew itself out, the vikings came. They chained my legs and wings, and dragged me out of the water and up the cliffs to an arena of sorts. The teenage viking from before (I heard that his name was Daggur), was waiting inside, twirling his double bladed axe. I whimpered in fear, knowing that he was going to kill me, and strained against the chains. One of the vikings cuffed me upside the head, and dragged me to the center of the arena. I was chained to the stone floor, and I stared at Daggur in fear as he raised his axe, then let it fall. I closed my eyes, preparing to feel the blade. A clang caused me to open my eyes, and what I saw astounded me. A female viking with copper hair was blocking Daggur’s axe with her sword. «I won’t let you kill this dragon, Daggur» The female said. «Azura» Daggur sneered. «How dare you return to my island!» He howled, pulling his weapon away and attacking. The female, Azura, dodged his strike, and returned with one of her own. I watched as they fought, neither one gaining the upper hand. Suddenly, a blue and purple dragon leaped down from the netting above. It spread its wings wide and hissed, lightning crackling amid its spiky frill. Daggur stared at the Skrill, and Azura took advantage of his distraction. She slammed the butt of her sword into the back of his head and Daggur crumpled to the ground. The guards had run away in fear, so Azura ran over to me and pulled a pin from her braid and used it to pick the lock on my chains. «Come on» she said, beckoning with her left hand, her right holding her sword. I followed her and the skrill into the stone tunnels that led outside. Once we reached the open air, Azura mounted her skrill and took off. I followed her, launching into the air and beating my wings hard. I followed her all the way to another island, one I had never been to.
We landed in the main square, I cautiously looked around, ready to take off at a moment’s notice. A skinny boy with brown hair and a metal leg walked up, acompanied by a black Night Fury. I tensed, ready to fly. «Azura, who’s this?» The boy asked. «I took shelter from the storm on Berserker Island and I rescued her from Daggur. He was going to kill her, Hiccup» Azura explained. Hiccup. That must be the boy’s name. «I’ve never seen anything like her» Azura said. I opened my thoughts and ‘said’ «I am an Aquaborealis. A sea dragon.» Azura and Hiccup jumped, looking around wildly before Hiccup realized I had said it. «Oh! An Aquaborealis! There’s a few others of your kind here on Berk» He directly adressed me. «Azura, you’ve never met the other Aquaborealis riders, but there are a few on Berk.» «Could I stay here?» I asked Hiccup. «I was seperated from my pod when I went exploring, and it would be nice to stay here.» «Of course!» Hiccup said. «If you are okay with it, you could stay with me» Azura offered. I smiled. «It would be my pleasure.» Since then, I have lived on Berk with Azura, and I even joined her family of dragons!

She is very gentle and loves hatchlings. She would never hurt anything except in self defense. She also has an excellent sense of humor, and can think her way out of practically anything.

I found Adiria when I was stranded in Berk’s wilderness after a failed hiking trip where I had gotten lost. Don’t ask why (But it involved red-eyed boars and a piece of bacon). I had made camp for the night, when I saw something streak across the sky (Maybe a comet?) and land in a field not far away. Curious, and unable to fall asleep, I went to investigate. There was a smoking crater in the middle of the field, and through the snoke I saw a beautiful purple dragon who looked like a piece of the night sky. Her wing was broken, so I slid into the crater to try and help. As I approached her, the purple dragon raised her head. «I won’t hurt you. » I said soothingly, seeing that the dragon was nervous. Using some rope, and a sutibly straight tree branch, I managed to splint the dragon’s wing. Over the span of a month, I helped the dragon- who I had named Adiria- recover. It involved lots and lots of fish, let me say that. All the while, I was unaware that Hiccup and some of my friends were searching for me. One evening, just after the sun went down, Adira’s wing had healed and she was ready to fly. «Go on, try» I encouraged her. She leaped into the air, beating her wings hard. Soon, Adira was soaring above the field and across the night sky. I smiled, happy. She landed and looked into my eyes. «Thank you» I heard a melodic voice say in my head. «You. you can talk?» I said, surprised. «Yes. My species, the Galaxy Furies, are telepathic. I know that you are lost, and I can help you back to your village.» «Thank you» I said as she allowed me onto her back. We took off and soared over the dark forest. I had never realized that Adira glowed slightly, like the soft radience of stars. We landed in Berk’s main square and I slipped off her back. «Thank you» I said, extremely grateful. «I should be thanking you. Without your help, my wing would not have healed properly.» «So, where will you go now?» I asked. «I am not yet strong enough to fly back up to the stars, so I will regain my strength elsewere.» «You could stay with me» I offered. Adira accepted, and has stayed with me ever since, occasionally visiting the world high in the stars.
