Gaburoon

After travelling the 6 th layer for a while, Faputa discovered Gaburoon, whose body was already too destroyed to move. As they interacted with each other, they grew closer and Gaburoon taught her various meanings of the abyssal language. In return, Faputa brought Gaburoon material which they used to repair their body. Gaburoon also gave Faputa her name and in return she named them as well, making them her guardian. Ever since, the two have been together. [1]

Gaburoon put protecting Faputa’s future over their own well-being, as seen when he protected Riko from Faputa so that she wouldn’t lose her bond with Reg and in their final moments stated that the days spent with Faputa were his precious own «Haku». [2] [3]

Reg met Faputa and Gaburoon shortly after the latter had been damaged by a Turbinid-Dragon. [4] Faputa was at first wary of him, but as they spent time together they grew closer to each other and Reg gifted Faputa the goggles he wore on his helmet at the time as a sign of friendship. [5] When Reg left the 6 th layer to continue his climb up the Abyss, Faputa expressed her desire to be with him and have children when he returns. Reg promises to take her on an adventure when he comes back as well. [6] When Reg returns with Riko and Nanachi, Faputa is surprised to discover Reg lost his memories. [7] [8] After Reg prioritizes Riko’s wish to stop Faputa from harming the inhabitants of Ilblu, a fight errupts between them in which Faputa tries to make Reg remember his past with her; growing saddened and frustrated with Reg failing to do so. [9] After their confrontation, and reuniting in the climax of the village arc, Faputa and Reg were able to reconcile. [10] [11] After Faputa joined the group, she and Reg were seen to be on good terms. [12]

After Faputa joined the group, she quickly warmed up to the others due to Riko’s bright personality. [12]

Nanachi

Faputa was shown to feel a sense of victory over Nanachi after being praised for her smell by Riko. [12] During their travels on the 6 th layer, the two grow more close with Nanachi taking on a sort of teaching role for Faputa when she has questions about something. [13]

Vueko

Vueko thought of Faputa in the a similar way of a granddaughter. [14] When Faputa was born, Vueko was relieved as she took it as a sign of Irumyuui not forgiving them after all. [15] When Faputa and Vueko finally met, Vueko was already on the brink of death, due to being affected by the curse, but they managed to have a final conversation in which Faputa told her that seemingly Irumyuui didn’t want to part with the memories of Vueko to the point of not even Faputa having them. After Vueko had died, Faputa felt saddened and confused because Vueko was supposed to belong to her mother and not her. [16]

Irumyuui

Faputa is the only child of Irumyuui to survive after she made a wish on the Cradle of Desire to have a child. Faputa is stated to carry on the wish of her mother to avenge all of the children who didn’t survive. [17]

Juroimoh

Juroimoh is seen to follow Faputa’s orders. She is rather crude when adressing him and refers to him as «ruffian.» [18]
