How do you think technology will change our lives in the next twenty years сочинение
Well, when we talk about how will technology change our lives in the next 20 years, we can´t make an exactly answer.
Nowadays the technology isn´t be able to know all about the future, and scientists haven´t a good ideea about how can change our life in the next 20 years. But with the time the technology will know more and more about our future.
About the health, today it is better than 10 years ago, the doctors and scientists had found a lot of cures for difficult illneses. It can change a lot because each year we found new threatments and drugs. But the problem is that we are having new illneses and is difficult to find a good cure for each illnes. So if we want to save the ill people we have to look for new cures using the technology. However natural cures are better than technology cures.
About the transport in 20 years, it can change a lot, because each year we find new cars for example. And today in european countries exist better transports than in Argentina. There you can find high-speed trains or really big plains. In my opinion the transport in the next 20 years will change our life, because we will have no problems to go to a far place, it will be easier to travel. But probably all these new transports will contaminate the environment and it will damage the population.
The most important topic that will change in the next 20 years is of course the technology. Each day we have a new type of mobile phones, or Ipods or mp4. So if we could made this technological objects, we will find a lot of new technology. The problem of the technology is that with the time the people is adict at mobile phones or for example TV, computer, Ifon and others. It isn´t good, that people miss the technology all day and they can´t do anithing with out it.
Long before people live with out technology, they live very good and it was normal live with out it. But today people depend on the technology.
And I don´t know how can this problem, that we are all included, finish. And this is the fear of not much people, well few people.
How technology will change our lives in big ways in the next 20 years
Over the course of the next two decades, we can expect technology to make major changes to the world around us which will be difficult to cope with for some but for others, the chance to level the playing field between the richest and poorest nations in the world will be on offer. Over the course of the mid to late 20th century, the birth of the information age took place with a growing reliance on digital technologies providing the driving force behind the innovations which have led to the start of the current digital age. The question of whether we have reached singularity between humans and technology is one on the lips of many scientists and technology experts who feel this time is closer than ever before but may not have occurred before the expiration of the next two decades.
One of the most feared areas of the changing face of technology in the coming two decades is the rise of artificial intelligence and the robot workers, many people believe will bring a vast change to every aspect of our working lives. The McKinsey Global Institute estimated, the rise of artificial intelligence will see between 45 and 70 million workers lose their jobs across the next decade and the situation grows even worse for many low-skilled workers in the coming years.
The loss of low-skilled jobs to robot workers has resulted in a number of different opinions forming about whether the impact of this will be positive or negative for society. Some experts believe the rising use of artificial intelligence in most developed countries will lead to a higher standard of living for the majority who will largely be concerned with how to distribute the wealth fairly and efficiently; others believe the largest amount of wealth being created with the elimination of the lowest-paid jobs will be distributed to the top one percent and see a growing gap between rich and poor be made even worse.
Not only will the technology change affect the work-life of millions of people across the planet but it will also play a role in the way work is conducted and from where. One of the most important changes we are currently seeing is the switch from a specific role within a company climbing the corporate ladder to a multi-dimensional lattice pattern of movement throughout a company. Businesses have been removing multiple layers of management since the 1970s and left little room for upward movement in a traditional sense; developing multiple skills is one of the most important aspects of the changing face of corporate advancement which allows sideways movement to the most important areas of business throughout a career. Understanding many different options open to a company in using technologies allows an employee to seek advancement through multiple sideways movements over the course of the next two decades.
Workplace monitoring is already a part of the lives of millions of workers across the planet but for many, the use of fitness monitors and even chips implanted in the bodies of employees will become an everyday occurrence over the course of the next 20 years. Research company, Garner revealed in 2014 a total of 10,000 companies across the planet had already offered their employees fitness monitoring equipment and this number will only rise as the good health of employees will no doubt become a major factor for companies in the U.S. and the rest of the world where healthcare costs continue to rise over the next two decades. A good example of the use of fitness monitoring is the need for employers to be able to monitor the sleep patterns of employees which have recently been seen to have a direct link to the level of concentration seen during the working day.
One of the most well-known areas of technological advancement in recent years has been the development of driverless vehicles which have been pioneered by major technology groups such as Google and Uber, which has been well publicized but also creates a difficult choice for consumers who must place their trust in the latest technology.
Electric vehicles are already making an impact on the environment and many experts believe the development of driverless cars could cut down on the number of vehicles on the road; in 2017, the Tesla organization has already developed automated technology to allow their cars to self-drive which puts the company at the forefront of the changing face of travel over the next 20 years in the view of experts at the University of California at Berkeley. Some experts have stated the first driverless vehicles could be using the roads as early as 2020 but the development of testing grounds in the U.S. and U.K. will see an increase in technology which should make the use of automated vehicles safer for all to enjoy in 20 years time.
Virtual reality is already having an effect on the lives of millions of people around the world but a change in the way we play games in 2017 is having an effect on how the gaming industry is evolving for the future. Over the next two decades, the rising use of cooperative games has been identified as allowing scientists and major organizations the chance to solve problems using video games as the base for the completion of the research. The days of playing sports and games purely to win, appear to be coming to an end with video games being used by 2038 to treat a number of issues including anxiety and depression.
As mentioned earlier, the initial aim of many of the pioneers of the internet was to develop computers and webspace allowing the movement towards the singularity to grow over the life of the internet. Unfortunately, many of those have enjoyed the freedom of the internet over the course of the last few decades. By the middle of the 2030s, it is expected, the end of net neutrality will lead to a more commercial Internet where individual pages are no longer searched for, but environments and feelings are expressed across many areas of the Internet.
Technology and sport have become all the more intertwined over recent years with the development of aerodynamics in the sport of professional cycling leading to a seachange in the way many different sports and equipment have been created. In the early 1990s, the broadcast of sports was changed forever when Rupert Murdoch’s Sky Sports channels purchased the rights to broadcast the English Premier League and developed many of the new technologies seen in the broadcast of sports across the planet.
In 1998, high definition broadcasting became more than a novelty when it was introduced for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and has led to many of the latest advances in broadcasting technology. One area which could result in major changes by the 2030s is the development of hologram broadcasting technologies which experts believe will be available by 2037 allowing a more intimate viewing experience to be obtained for TV, sports, and movies.
As with all looks into the future, the ability of a single individual to provide a successful glimpse into how the future will change as a look at previous attempts show. However, many of the effects technology will have on life included here have been created by experts from around the world and are those I feel have the greatest chance of coming to fruition by 2038.
How Technology Will Affect Our Lives in Twenty Years |
The defining characteristic of majority in the world in the twenty-first century through 2015 and beyond is the rapid pace in which technology is evolving and integrating itself in our everyday lives. Technological innovation is almost a day to day occurrence, causing a change in how we live our day to day lives, preaching its ability to make our lives easier.
In just a few decades, the technological revolution can be seen. We have gone from using large, bulky, seemingly indestructible cellular devices that can only place phone calls to sleek and slim smartphones such as iPhones that offer all of the world’s information at our fingertips. Cameras have gone almost completely digital, eliminating an entire facet of the previous photography industry, film. We no longer have to go out to a store to purchase a CD to listen to our favorite artist, instead we can log into our laptops and into the iTunes Store, which gives access to all of the world’s music in a matter of a few clicks. The world is changing rapidly, and if anything, technology is evolving at an even greater rate than before.
In the foreseeable future, it is anticipated that we are on track for an even greater technology reliant society. Cars, which already have the capabilities of parking themselves with the press of a button, will soon become available so that they can drive themselves. The prefix «smart» will make its way from the phone and watch industry to wearable items, such as glasses and contact lenses, and as cognitive science continues to grow, who knows what else? Robots and computers already pose an efficient means of production, but with the development of 3D printing, in a few years, we may not need to buy anything at all. We can simply print it at home.
The efficiency that technology allows will continually make the business world more and more competitive, since efficiency is a prized component of any successful corporation. Robots and machines may very well replace human labor resulting in an a greater long term investment for companies, which has its benefits and serious social repercussions. But on top of that, companies will be able to cater to the individual consumer as data analytics progress rather than generalizing to the region or group. Additionally, data analytics will drastically change the scope and landscape of decision making. More people will be making business decisions based on the information provided by the computer in front of them rather than their gut feelings and instincts, a driving distinction of previous entrepreneurs.
In twenty years, the potential scope of technology is infinite. The very technology we dreamed of being real when we watched Star Trek with wide eyes is becoming very much a reality. The landscape of our entire world will be changed. Imagine droids like Data roaming the streets with us, doing jobs we used to do. Every surface in our houses, businesses, and hospitals will be some sort of computer. We may even have energy weapons like the Star Trek’s phaser gun. The convenience and power of technology is great. But as we progress as a human race and continually to rapidly progress, we must consider the great benefits next to the dire consequences that such innovation poses.
How will Technology Change in the Future
We have seen new innovations every day. Be it a rocket successfully made in less cost or the introduction of new drugs to combat deadly diseases.
Scientists all over the world in various niches are working day and night to make this world a better place for everyone to survive.
Technology that we see today has evolved what it was five decades ago. We have now shifted to smartphones from landlines, laptops from huge PC and much more. With new research, there are possibilities of multiple ways in which existing technology will change.
To give you an idea and the future technology possibilities, I have compiled a list of technologies that will see a significant change in the upcoming years.
1# Healthcare
The first field to see new technology and innovations in the area of healthcare. The scientists have mapped the human genome and are now working on DNA engineering. This human genome mapping will help in eradicating the mutated genes or duplicate genes from the DNA.
Removing these genes will aid in preventing genetic diseases. Scientists are also working to develop more targeted and effective drugs for fighting cancer. By 2025 we can expect safer and functional drugs to treat cancer.
Type-I Diabetes, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases might be eradicated from the world as there is a lot of research going to identify the genes causing these diseases. These genes shall be removed or engineered to avoid these diseases.
In a nutshell, there are better drugs, diagnosis and treatments coming up for some diseases.
2# Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a major success in the past decade. The robots are designed using computer programs and code resembling human intelligence. Multimillionaire companies like Google, Apple and Amazon are already using this technology as their assistants like Siri, Alexa, etc.
AI is yet to see more development and new robotic technology. Don’t be surprised if you see robots working in your company soon or greeting you at other places.
With the help of different techniques, AI might be able to change the experience of workspaces and industrial fields by making everything robot operated.
3# Renewable Sources of Energy
We are already using solar energy in many industrial and residential areas. This source of energy will see more development and functionality in the future. Researchers are working towards getting more options for renewable sources of energy.
The new innovations might include batteries charged by solar energy. The companies such as Tesla have already launched their solar tiles for houses that can be fitted in the roofs. Many companies are now working towards solar panels for car roofs, devices and much more.
Innovations in conserving this energy and then using it optimally are definitely going to change the existing technology. These sources will help in saving the world from the exhaustion of non-renewable sources of energy.
Solar batteries driven vehicles might be a thing by 2050. These energy sources will also help in reducing pollution and making the environment sustainable. Be ready to witness the technology that is not only safer but also cost-effective and eco-friendly.
4# Self-driven Cars
The researchers are working to introduce self-driven or autonomous driving cars by 2040. With the new development of technology in AI and robots, you might be able to get your hands on the self-driven vehicles pretty soon.
These driverless cars will also be connected via the internet to inform the user as well as the passengers. The technology can also be further able to update about the weather and traffic. Autonomous cars will be the first innovation of new tech transport which will change our transport sectors.
Google and Apple are using AI for some of the features for GPS and maps.
5# Blockchain
Blockchain is one of the technologies that already took the world by storm. It is the newest technology used for transmitting, storing and decentralizing data. It is, however, wrongly confused with Bitcoin.
Well, it is not the case. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that uses the Blockchain for tracing transactions as it has its own encrypted code. Hence, Blockchain is not a cryptocurrency but is used to store the data across the world in a way that the information cannot be altered.
This technology might develop further with the help of AI that can help transfer currency, shares, bonds, securities, etc.
6# Food Technology
How about getting your food designed in the lab? Sounds cool, right! The new methods and technologies might help to develop the meat in the lab.
It will be competent to prevent the problems arising due to a decrease in biodiversity and food chain disturbance.
Apart from meat, 3D printers are coming up that can print the food that you want. Many companies are building 3D printers for printing the entire meal in one go.
Here, we are dreaming about getting a pizza in less than 30 minutes and who knows we might be able to print it on our own one day.
7# Virtual & Augmented Reality
The world has already witnessed the power of virtual reality. One can have a realistic experience for gaming and other areas by wearing a VR set. The VR creates a 3D virtual reality for the user to interact.
Augmented reality or AR is different from VR as it uses real things to display images, texts, numbers, etc in 2D and 3D. This reality will be interactive too, just like the VR. Many companies are working towards the amalgamation of both these technologies.
This will give real experience for virtual elements and will also augment digital information for providing more details and report to the users.
The superposition of both realities can be helpful for virtual meetings, track the development of new products and much more.
Concluding Remarks
Apart from the above-stated ways, be ready to embrace the 3D printed organs and organisms. Doctors and scientists are already working for developing 3D printed hearts, brain and much more.
The introduction of new technology might seem out of the box right now, but these will change our lives in a better way. Right from cutting down the food shortage to alternatives for conventional energy sources, we are marching towards a better world and a better lifestyle.

Technology in Our Life
Сочинение на тему “Технологии в нашей жизни” на английском языке с переводом на русский язык
We live in the 21st century and we are surrounded by technology. Is it good or is it bad? Let’s think about it.
The first thing that springs to mind is technology is great. It makes our life easier in many ways. For instance we have a lot of kitchen appliances that help us cook, cut, and wash in less time than 20 years ago. So housing has become much less time consuming. It applies to many other areas of our life.
Technologies help us be connected. Most people have some kind of a smart phone that allows them to stay online, share their news with friends and relatives no matter where they are at the moment. Nowadays we have easy access to information, which help in education and business. There are numerous resources that give people opportunity to study at home or be accepted in a university abroad without leaving their home country.
Of course we need to mention technologies used in medicine. They help save lives or improve lives of those who suffered from accidents or were born with some abnormalities. Technologies help us travel in quicker ways. The list of advantages can go and on.
But does technology have disadvantages? It definitely does. The speed with which modern technologies develop and our attempts to catch up with it make our lives more stressful. We have become more isolated, as more and more people replace real relations with social media ones. We virtually don’t need to go out to satisfy our basic needs like food, medicine etc.
Technology definitely improves our lives but only when used in moderation.
