How to see how many Apex Legends Packs you’ve opened
The Apex Legends pack tracker will let you calculate how many packs you’ve opened, giving you the chance to track how close you are to receiving those coveted Heirloom Shards.
To ensure that you don’t open endless packs and never receive any Heirloom Shards in Apex Legends, Respawn created a method to prevent it from happening. This means that a player cannot open more than 500 packs without receiving them (unless they already own all the Heirloom sets).
One coder, Mike Zarandona, decided to create a method that allowed players to easily keep track of how many Apex packs they’ve opened throughout the course of their time playing the game.
Zarandona worked out this method and built an application, the Apex pack tracker, to estimate the amount of opened packs in your account has logged, thus cluing you into how many more you’ll need going forward before you’ll get Heirloom Shards.

How many Apex Packs have I opened?
Getting started with the Apex pack tracker to find out how many packs you’ve opened is easy:
If you’re unsure of what your Account level is in Apex, you can find it displayed above your head up until level 100 in the Lobby, or you can also track it along with other stats here.
Apex Pack Tracker
The Apex pack tracker lets you input everything from what level you achieved by the end of each season’s Battle Pass, to any Daily Treasure packs you might have received for quests.
Zarandona has scattered tips throughout the site with where to find this info, and suggested: “checking the Season X badge on any Legend.”
Apex calculator tips
Apex Legends quests give you a total of 45 Daily Treasure Packs. You can enter how many of those you were able to get during each quest in the pack tracker’s calculator.
Finally, the last two entries may be a bit tricky for some people: Purchased Packs & Bugs + Misc Packs. For most, both of these are going to be 0 if you haven’t bought any, or if Respawn hasn’t compensated packs to you for an errant bug.
Once you have all of your figures, you can view your Heirloom Progress. This will have a report for you with the breakdown of all the packs that you’ve collected.
How to get more Apex packs
The easiest way to earn Apex packs is by simply leveling up in Apex Legends. Between levels 2 and 20, you earn one pack. This changes to one pack every 2 levels between level22 and 300. Lastly, from level 305 to 500, you earn one pack every 5 levels.
So, there you have it, everything you need to know about the Apex pack tracker, and how to see how many packs you’ve opened in Apex Legends!

How to Find Out the Number of Apex Legends Packs You’ve Opened
Heirloom shards can be used to craft unique melee weapon skins, specific to each legend.
According to the Apex Legends official FAQ, players are sure to get at least 150 Heirloom shards upon opening 500 Apex packs.
Here is how you can calculate how many packs you need to open to get Heirloom shards.
How to find out the number of Apex packs opened
Players can find the number of Apex packs they have opened by following these steps:
Type in your account level, the number found above your legend’s head in the game’s lobby.
Type in how many Apex Packs have you purchased directly from the store. To find out how many Apex packs you have purchased from the store, review your purhcase history of your account by accessing your gaming store profile on your platform, and look for a listing of transactions.
Type in your level for each season as well as whether you have purchased the battle pass. To determine what level you achieved in past seasons, players can go to any legend’s “Banner” tab and find the badge for that season.
Once all the information has been filled in, the Apex Packs Calculator will tell you the number of packs bought and how close you are to 500.
Note that once a player owns all of the Heirloom Sets, the player will not be eligible for this bonus until more Heirloom Sets are added to the game.
How to find out the number of Apex Legends packs you’ve opened
Determine how close you are to getting that coveted heirloom.
Heirlooms are some of the rarest, most sought-after items in Apex Legends, but it’s hard to know exactly when you should expect to get one. For fans eager to know how close they are to unlocking those elusive bragging rights, one website has you covered.
Apex players are guaranteed at least one heirloom after opening 500 packs. Using this metric, one savvy fan designed a calculator that helps you determine how many packs you’ve opened. The tool creates a step-by-step breakdown using your account level, event progress, and battle pass progress.
Players first begin by inputting their account level, found above your head in the in-game lobby. Once that’s in, the calculator automatically generates how many packs you’ve earned from those levels.
The calculator then prompts you to input your level for each season, as well as if you purchased the battle pass. To determine what level you achieved in past seasons, players can go to any legend’s “Banner” tab and find the badge for that season. The number on the badge is the level you reached. The data is current as of season 12.
There’s also an option to input how many Apex packs you purchased from the store, as well as entries for events, quests, and Twitch Prime members. If you don’t know exactly how many packs you’ve received from these categories, just make your best guess.
Once all the information has been added to the calculator, it immediately tells you the number of packs bought and how close you are to 500. If you’re under the 50-percent mark, you may want to reconsider buying the over 250 packs needed for a guaranteed heirloom.
Though Respawn does promise at least one heirloom per 500 packs, it’s completely possible to open the legendary item at any point in time, so don’t lose hope. There’s a reason the calculator calls the 500-pack mark “bad luck protection.”
How to check how many Apex Packs you’ve opened in Apex Legends
Find out how close you are to your guaranteed pack of Heirloom Shards.
Apex Legends is a free-to-play game with plenty of in-game purchases. This means that the game is pretty sparing for getting free loot boxes, aka Apex Packs. That said, players are often doing everything they can to get just that. Now, there is no in-game tracker telling you how many packs you’ve opened, but many players want to keep track due to a special in-game reward. After you open 500 apex packs: you are guaranteed an Heirloom Shard pack. Heirloom Shards allow you to purchase in-game melee weapons.
So how do you check how close you are to the grand prize? You could do all the math yourself, but one player actually created a calculator to figure that out for you.
Apex Packs Calculator
The Apex Packs Calculator by Mike Zarandona will ask you to fill out a bunch of information, and it will configure how many packs you have received based on your answer. The questions are as follows:
If you know how many Apex Packs are awarded from each of these things, you can reiterate and do the math yourself, but the calculator is much easier.
If you don’t know some of these values, putting in a good estimate is better than keeping it blank. Level 500 players who will have completed every quest, premium season pass by the end of Season 8: Mayhem will be at a count of 350 Apex Packs. Given the rate that Apex Packs are granted per season, it will probably take until Season 13 or so for completionist players who have been playing since Season 1 to get their Heirloom Shards without buying Apex Packs in the store with real money.
Note: Event Packs do not count towards this goal. Epic and Legendary Apex Packs do.
How to check how many Apex Packs you’ve opened in Apex Legends
Apex Packs are the loot box of Apex Legends. You can buy them with premium currency or earn them naturally throughout the game. You can earn Apex Packs by leveling up your account and battle pass, collecting daily treasure packs, completing certain events, and other lesser ways.
You want to know how many Apex Packs you have opened because after you open 500 Apex Packs, you are guaranteed to get a pack of Heirloom Shards. So, how do you find out how many packs you’ve opened?
Apex Packs Calculator
There is no way to discover how many Apex Packs you have collected in-game. However, there is a third-party calculator created by Mike Zarandona. You will need to know some in-game stats, but it is easier than trying to recall how many packs you’ve ever opened.
Necessary Information
For quick reference: players who will have completed all premium battle passes, quests, events, and have a level 500 account will most likely get their guaranteed Heirloom Shards by the end of Season 13. This would not be including any purchased Apex Packs or gifted Apex Packs due to errors or glitches.
