Сюжет How to Build a Magnificent Kingdom разворачивается в некогда процветающем царстве Эйвоне. Королевством управляет мудрый и отзывчивый правитель Регно. С недавних времен добродушный царь стал самым настоящим ужасающим тираном. Он бросил всех своих подопечных и семью, подвергнув все королевство в тиранический режим.

Из-за многочисленных бунтов король был убит собственными бывшими лучшими подданными. Ни короля, ни нации больше нет, и теперь Эйвон – пустая земля, где обитают воры, мародеры и исчадия ада. Все же, еще есть надежда на то, чтобы исправить всю ситуацию и вновь продвигать царство. Ариадна, дочь предыдущего правителя, решает взять все в свои руки и достичь заветной цели любыми способами. Она желает восстановить свой родной дом. Ей необходимо найти всю свою находчивость, стать настойчивой и принимать правильные решения.

Взяв контроль над Ариадной, потребуется управлять всем Королевством и решать важные дипломатические и военные действия. По мере прохождения, к героине будут часто приходить различные персонажи, предлагающие помощи. Только пользователю выбирать, кому доверять и набирать в свою команду. Имеется более 20 полезных и не очень героев, желающих быть при дворце.

История имеет множество путей развития. Предпринимая оригинальные решения, геймер будет наблюдать за разнообразными концовками при перепрохождении. Во время важных событий появятся полностью озвученные и анимационные сцены.

The once prosperous kingdom of Avon now lies in tatters with nothing left in its coffers and a pitiful four citizens to its name. Yet even at its darkest hour, Princess Ariadne is still determined to restore it back to its former glory. Will her perseverance carry her through?

A tragic event has occurred in the once-prosperous Avon Kingdom, a massacre known to most only as the Calamity King incident. The once benevolent regent, King Regnault, went mad and started killing all those among his people who weren’t able to flee the country in time.

Now the country lies in tatters with nothing left in its coffers and a pitiful four citizens to its name: Princess Ariadne, who just recovered from a grave illness, her maid Luluka, Knight Commander Grey, and you, a mere knight apprentice. Shocked to find the whole country in ruins after waking up, Ariadne doesn’t believe for one second the Regnault she knew and loved would be capable of committing such atrocities while she was sick and bedridden. Her first decision as the new queen of Avon requires all her strength and courage because it’s as reckless as it is preposterous: she wants to restore her beloved kingdom to its former glory and clear her father’s name in the process.

It won’t be easy, far from it, but with the help of some good old pillaging and a state-run brothel to get you started, your cautiously confident people will join the country and your cause soon enough… Or at least you hope they will.
