How do you do it, and is it worth it?
Universal Exits
Due to the way the Backrooms are arranged against the Frontrooms, traversing the EXTERIOR Void in any direction far enough would take a wanderer to the Frontrooms. However, since the void is infinite, conventional vehicles will simply get nowhere and leave wanderers stranded. In order to traverse the void, artificial quantum tunneling must be done. However, the only documented attempt was in Level REDACTED and it failed. It is unknown if this exit is practically possible, but it is theoretically possible.
It is a common point of contention on what exactly must be done to reach Level 3999, or what must be done to escape using it, but an overwhelming majority agrees that there is an exit somewhere there. 3998 has been confirmed as an exit to 3999, however it itself has no guaranteed entry point. Some believe that 3999’s sublevels have the key to reality. Some even believe that Level 3999 is not an exit at all, but an elaborate ruse created by Partygoers or other entities of similar malevolence as a trap. Whether or not any of these theories are true, none have returned from 3999 but many have reported seeing an escape.
How one reaches this level is unknown. The theory that there’s an exit inside of it was only found by an anonymous wanderer who livestreamed their experience in this level, managed to defy odds to climb the staircase, and found a bright light. They made noise, however, and immediately were killed. It is thought that the light is an exit to reality. No manned missions have been sent to 9223372036854775807, but due to it’s connection with Heaven (aka. The 9223372036854775807 Void), drones have been able to be sent there. The light has since been confirmed by multiple drone operators, however the light seems to reject the drones.
General Knowledge
What is known about the other exits to the Backrooms is that they are not consistent. However, wanderers who found exits at any point and remained in the Backrooms for any reason were polled on what happened leading up to their finding of an exit. They all shared the following characteristics:
It is thought that these criteria are only portions of what it takes to escape the Backrooms, or it is entirely up to chance. What is known, however, is that according to the criteria we do know none who go looking for an exit will happen upon one.
Exceptions
A few exceptions to these criteria have been found. Some have reported finding exits in discovered levels where there are none, some have found their own exits without meeting the criteria, and some have traced their steps back and still found the level there. The causes of these exceptions remain unknown.

1. About
Level Escape is one of the most dangerous levels in the Backrooms despite there being no proof of it’s existence. It is a class 5 level meaning it’s Unsafe, Unsecure and has a Entity Infestation. Level Escape takes the picture of a huge futuristic city filled with skyscrapers and huge roads. The city is located approximately 30,000 Kilometers away from any spawning points. The rest of this level is called The Dark Zone.
Level Escape
The Dark Zone is an endless pit that is filled with nothing but Smilers, Facelings, Hounds, Skinstealers and all sorts of entities. These creatures are approximately 3.5x more vicious in this level than they are in general. The average time alive in this level is 6.3 seconds.
2. The City
The huge city that can be seen in the distance has huge fancy lights and is assumed a safe spot by many. The City is home to hundreds of fake Exit Doors that will lead you to an inescapable void if entered. Both The Dark Zone and The City are completely void of food or water.
Entites known as Business men roam this city and are highly hostile. One can not be spot, heard smelt or felt by one of these creatures as it will causes inevitable death. These creature’s senses are greater than ever documented and could sniff you as soon as you spawn. Because of this, The City is more dangerous than the dark zone.
3. Theories
This Level has never been documented before and there is no proof it exists. Several wanderers have entered this level but none have ever escaped back to other wanderers. These people are usually sent out to this level to investigate it and it’s surroundings. These people are connected for an average of 3 seconds. Becuase of this not much is documented and a lot of this level is bluffed or theorised.
there were 2 known expeditions to Level Escape both made by volunteers in The M.E.G in the years 2013 and 2017. The first journey explained the Entity Infestation and how the area was a pitch black void filled with entites. They also claimed to have seen a distant light but didn’t explain in time. The second journey explained the sight of a futuristic city and loud screams could be heard through the call coming from the city. He mentioned he could make out the shape of a man in a suit doing the yell before the call got disconnected.

The Way Out
The Way Out is widely regarded as the exit to the Backrooms. The Way Out will appear differently for everyone, though it will always be flooded in intense yellow light. So far, the only person who is known to have truly escaped is a person known only by their Reddit handle, u/enigmaticeva. The Way Out is capable of randomly manifesting on any floor, though the chance of that (1*10^-27) which is calculated to have up to 560 digits but there are so many digits it’s hard for a computer to calculate so occurring makes it a very rare event. It also seems that The Way Out leads to a random location.

However, it seem that whoever finds their Way Out, at least for a while, does not end up in their original reality. Shortly after exiting, enigmaticeva noticed numerous anomalies scattered around what they thought was their reality. Some of the anomalies include:
Inside of The Way Out
Soon after these events, enigmaticeva’s replies became garbled and incoherent. However, looking at their Reddit history, it seems that they have resumed a normal life. It seems that when one exits the Backrooms, The Frontrooms and the Backrooms overlap and meld together, essentially glitching out reality, before it slowly rectifies.

Level 0: «The Lobby»
Level 0 is the 1 st level of the Backrooms, and the first many initially encounter.

Description
Level 0 is an expansive non-Euclidean space, resembling the back rooms of a retail outlet. All rooms in Level 0 share the same superficial features, such as worn mono-yellow wallpaper, old moist carpet, scattered electrical outlets, and inconsistently-placed fluorescent lighting. Aside from these common features, no two rooms within the level are identical.
The fluorescent lighting present in Level 0 hums at a constant frequency. This buzzing is notably louder and more obtrusive than ordinary fluorescent lights, and examination of the fixtures to determine the source has been inconclusive thus far. Secondly, the substance lightly saturating the carpet cannot be consistently identified; it is not water, nor is it safe to consume.
Linear space in Level 0 is altered drastically; it is possible to walk in a straight line, return to the starting point, and end up in a completely different set of rooms than the ones previously passed through. Due to this phenomenon, and the visual similarity between each room, consistent navigation of Level 0 has proven very difficult. Devices such as GPS locators and compasses fail to function within the level, and radio communications are audibly distorted and often prove unreliable.
The most prominent threat in Level 0 is the stark lack of available resources. As the fluid saturating the carpet has been deemed unsafe for human consumption, most are likely to perish before managing to find an exit due to extended dehydration, starvation, and exhaustion.
Entities
Level 0 is thought to be entirely devoid of life. To date, no interactions with other wanderers and/or entities during explorations have ever been recorded in the level. Consequently, this effect leads to colonies and outposts being infeasible to create.
