Pro tip: It basically works on any stand + pluck but if you see yourself running out of keys to get more pluck moves, consider putting something like Thrust on R as you are very unlikely to use Barrage Finisher (unless you use CD)

Good tip i never knew you could change your R or E keybind

Sp pluck is easy but hard to pull off if you don’t hit first

I think i know one combo that is pierce strike or tps, then crescent slash then teleport, after that star finger

I saw 0 damage after that ts and thats how i know that ts hurt a hell of alot

this guy using sp pluck with different combo but he always use the inhale + triple, time skip with star finger or pierce strike

How do you guarantee that for combo one they don’t get flung back too far to land tps

Stop moving then walk while using the move, this is because you need to walk a certain amount for it to fling back less (Its weird)

bro when i use pluck vitality doesnt works so my hp stays as 100 even if i max out vitality (it needs to be 200 or more)

That an illusion, your vitality IS working, its just that you are used to using boxing or hamon so you take less damage and have more health, with pluck you just have the base 200 therefore you take more damage than the other specs.

I’ve been maining sp pluck for a while, I’m just glad people actually see it as something good to use or consider using.

Blocking

There are currently 3 ways of blocking in YBA. Blocking makes it so you can avoid taking damage from LMB (M1) Punches from Stands and various other Stand moves which you can block. You press the F key to block.

Blocking

Regular blocking is when you hold the F key to avoid LMB (M1) Punches and other moves from Stands and Specialities.

Thorns Block

Thorns Block was a skill in pre-rework Pluck’s skill tree. When someone hit a Pluck user who is blocking with their sword, the player who punched would have received damage back.

Block Breaking

Block Breaking is when someone does their Barrage Finisher move or a Double RMB (M2) click to Block Break their opponent. Getting Block Broken or Block Breaking stuns the player for a short period of time, allowing the opponent to attack. You can also get block broken by other moves too.

True Block Break

These are moves that breaks your block no matter when you block (unparriable moves)

Block Bypassing

these are moves where if you block them they will still hit you and deal damage (but some of these moves can still be parried if you block at the right time) moves that bypass block are:

note: blocking in time stop will not block the damage but you will be blocking after the time stop ends

Perfect Blocking

Perfect Blocking is when you block a block breaker move at the right time. This in turn stuns the opponent who tried to Block Break you; it’s a red colour as opposed to the regular white block breaker visual.

How to Perfect Block

To perfect block, in the time frame an enemy is doing a block breaking attack (e.g. SPTW’s Ora Beatdown,) hold down block. If you manage to perfect block it, it will show a normal block breaking effect but instead of being blue it will be red. The attacker will be stunned rather than you. This allows you to start up a combo. It is recommended to keep this combo short, as the attacker will be stunned for 0.5 seconds, similar to a normal block break stun time.

Attacks That Can Be Perfect Blocked:

Note: To PB any kick barrage the block has to be timed before the barrage starts around the windup sound. Don’t be tricked into thinking it’s the final hit of the barrage as that will just block break you.

as someone who used to be quite good at pluck ( or so i thought), this is such a remarkable video. all the little things he observes are so interesting and amazing, such as knowing you can jump over crescent slash.
ps. mad respect for also putting in the 1v1 where you lost to him, a lot of ytbers act like they can beat anyone, but this video makes it so much better.

That lost is not exactly a lost cuz if u count the skills he shouldn’t have not missed because of trash yba hitboxes he should’ve have won

I once saw MagGotOofed get destroyed by an tryouter while they both were using SP boxing.
He seemed furious and demanded rematches each time he lost. Other than that it was a very good match still. (Waiting for him to put it on Clip-Share 😳)

i tried this build (i used pluck before) and godamn its goated af it was easy (i have a well sized keyboard) keybinds were easy, deals a awful ton of dmg when punishing and more

Yo you should try silver chariot pluck or silver chariot vampire. Its really op and underrated. (I recommend vamp cuz longer ragdoll) Ragdoll into million pricks is true so you can land a free barrage and stuff

Edit: no but seriously I like how you utilized your moves correctly and how you see yba pvp. It’s very unique and out of the box like how you use the knife stun to interrupt the last seconds of the barrage timer was something I would do. And using aerial ace and thrust to avoid combos. Nice plucking I guess
