Since 11.June.2016

The Map/Camp will stay at the name the player had as he started it. So maybe if you want it beautiful, rename yourself at Steam before you make the camp.
You can have up to 5 Camps (Public and Private on-line) and one off-line.
Your new camp is not deleted after you leave it, you find it by activating «Show empty camps» and maybe set the search to «My camps». Small tip, set your own camps as Favorites, it’s faster to toggle that box as to change «my Camps/all camps».

I suggest you should play on Public, at least my guide here is for public. There you have the advantage that you can visit higher level camps to make quests over your camp level or to level up your character without have a High level camp by yourself.
Besides that Public has the advantage that others player can help you. If you want to play alone you can set your Camp to «max 1 Player». But make sure that joining players only get the guest rights.
I meet much more helpful players than players who try to harm me. In fact, without cheats, the baddest thing is a Guest can do is attract zombies to your camp. Defenses they can destroy, but buildings they can only damage and costs only a bit wood and Nails to repair them quick.

If you set keyboard to Controller 2

you can summon a other Profile/Avatar inside the game by pressing return.

Very helpful to revive yourself or as a mobile Crate.

And of course to play with others on your PC

I have the experience that during a fast fight it is very easy to hit the Buttons for Camp or Inventory accidentally.
So i set them to P for Camp and I for Inventory.
And the Chatwheel i set to Button B. This button i can hit with the Thumb, and on ALT it really fast disturbs by open the Chatwheel every time you «Alt-Tab» out of the game

Additional i decided to place the F Button on my Mouse. Helps really much

Like in nearly all RPG you get XP by killing Zombies and by solving quests. Different to the most games there are 3 things you must spend your XP for.
1: Player Level
2: Player Skills
3: Camp Level
The Player can only Upgrade his Level to the level the Camp have he is on.
The camp level needs at lvl 10,20,25,30,35,40,45 a unlock. This is done by a massive Zombie attack on that camp. The Zombie attacks get harder with each level. To make this quest you need to build the «Pylon».

The camp level sets the Monster Level for the Camp map. Means lvl 20 Camp = lvl 20 Zombies on the map. At level 10 these Night-crawlers appears, and they annoy really if you stand at a quest giver. So decide wisely to level your Camp. At level 10 they are only a few and a bit rare, so higher your camp is so more appear.

The Optic of the Character has zero influence on the abilities. Its only for Optic.

For our Luck there are not so much. But a short overview
Player Inventory = Has a maximum Weight, if you go over it you will move slower and lose faster Stamina. And with to much weight you cant longer sprint or climb (and can get trapped, at least at the sewers). There are better backpacks and Skills to carry more.

Crate in Kovac’s Bunker = This crate is bound to the Character, you can access the Items on every Camp. This crate is the only you can place your Flash-light, Bird and this Armour you will find inside this crate.

And the last thing about your other Avatars/profiles. I use my Profile 3 and 4 as mobile Crate for supply delivery. I think everybody will run out of Food, Ammo, Medics at a Point, so i decided for me to use one character as Mobile Crate, this has reached a level that i have nearly 90% of my items on that Character. So i can easy build items at foreign camps. Or can upgrade my different camps without the need to get the Items first.

And a other tip. The sequence you add the items to your Character or trunk will stay until you take the last item of a stack out. Used this to sort my inventory. Very helpful sometimes.

You can not die by starving or dehydration, but your abilities get weakened. So you should eat and drink before the Percentage goes to low.

For myself i use nearly only «Berry Juice» and «Grilled Fish with Peas»
But for the beginning Drink what you find (All the water gives empty bottles, which can be used to make Berry juice)
and if you need more to eat do the Turkey Quest at Radio (lvl 5) there you can get 20 eggs. Every Egg will give a Large Cooked Egg that gives 50% food and a melee Buff
But Blackberries, Cans of Fish and Cans of peas, spare for the Kitchen.

Sadly the Medicine is actually not really balanced, sure all better stuff heals more, but needs much longer to use and is so much heavier that most time you should use the Medicinal herb as it is.
The Buff Potions are hard to Farm, but in the right Situations they help really much.
* Brown at Crocodiles,
* Cyan at Madison’s 2nd Quest, Green reduce the Reload-time and is so not bad at all,
* Orange and Yellow at running Quests or to complete the Camp map.

You start next to a Entrance to Kovac’s Bunker. And if you read the the info you will see that this is a fast Travel System inside your Camp map. You will be able to use after you know 2 different entrances

The items can be divided into 5 Categories

Tools: You need them for lock-picking or Recipes. But mostly they are only used and not consumed

Parts: You need to upgrade Buildings or Build usable items

Melt-able metal items: Many items you can melt and make bars from them. The bars can become sheets, tubes and Pellets

Resources: Like wood, plants, animal hide, textiles

The Rest: Like Fan letters or White paint. Maybe they can be used in Future Recipes

Some items can be in more than one Category: Like copper rivets, they can be molten, but you need them too to upgrade and/or build items.

There are Different types of Weapons
every Weapon has its own Advantages and Disadvantages. And depending on the Situation Advantage can become a Disadvantage or the other way.

++ Hits many enemy at once because swings from side to side
Most light melee weapons are easily found.

— Hits only enemy in front because swings from up to down.
+ Much damage
These Weapons you must build mostly. They need a special kind of game play i have nearly no experience with.

++ Very Silent
+ Good Damage
++ Reuse of Ammunition
+ Good Fire Rate
I wear if it is possible ever a bow with around 150 Arrows. The Bow has a Semi-automatic fire rate by holding the Fire button which is fast enough to hold all Zombies away in 99% of all cases. Additional he does enough damage but is Silent without Silencer

++ High Damage
+ Penetrating
+ Silent
++ Reuse of Ammunition
— Low rate of fire
The Crossbow is in my eyes not so perfect like the Bow, but he is still a Good choice.

— Loud
— Use much Ammunition
++ Very good rate of fire

The Revolver is a great Weapon, and the biggest Disadvantage can become his Biggest Advantage. More later at the tactics.

I can give here again no real good advice. For me the Fire rate is to slow. So i only used this weapon type once.

— Loud
— Less Damage (per shot)
— Extreme use of Ammunition
+++ Extreme fire rate.
The Assault rife is the right Companion if you have enough ammunition on stock and you need to fight many enemies with less live points. Like at the Turkey Quest, or if you Quest on lower levels.
The Assault rifle is the worst choice if you want to fight SWAT Zombies with Kevlar Vests and Helmets.

I suggest to use
Bow for silent kills and to spare Ammo. Move trough the Maps and kill the enemy Silent with the bow.
When you have cleared most enemy around you, and you want to go inside houses or you need to kill more enemy. Use Revolver mod with Concentrator to attract zombies.
It make sense to attract them out of the houses and kill them on open street.
So the biggest disadvantage of the Revolver becomes his biggest advantage, a really big radius you attract all Enemies.

Full Auto versus Head shots
Full aimed shots go trough Zombies and hit zombie(s) behind the Target. So the Revolver can reduce big groups very fast. (Try it in combination with Grilled Fish with peas as buff Food and additional Cyan buff Potions, really bad for the Zombies)
The Assault rifle is not bad until you reach the SWAT Zombies with Kevlar Vests, they need Head shots.
So both can clear big groups of enemies.

Overview of camp spots

As first, if i speak about Assets i speak about Buildings and/or Defenses.

The best defense is one with different belts the enemy must pass.

As first from Outside you should place Tenderizer these have high live points
They will stop around 1/3 of all enemy’s.

As second you should place Rotating arms with a deep of two or three.
They will stop again around 1/3 of all enemy’s.

As third i would place Attractor surrounded by Spikes
They will stop around the half of all Zombies that made it trough the first 2 Belts

So you minimize the maintenance and repair costs. Most damage take the Attractor
The Tenderizer have much live but need repair too from time to time.
The Rotating arms need rarely Repair in this setup
And Spikes with low and high fences took only low amounts of damage if the Belts are placed wisely.

Watchtower
The watchtower as it is now is a very special asset, i do not suggest to use him under normal circumstances. High fences are better, you can place them so near to the next that you can build a double fence. The are smaller and so less Zombies can damage the same at the same time.

Trunks and Kitchen against Spawn
The Buildings suppress the Zombie Spawn around them. So build enough of them to suppress all Zombie-spawn inside your Compound.

The highest importance when you build a new Camp is the Defense. Nothing annoys more than the need to rebuild the Defense again and again. So start by looking for a decent Spot for the camp

Additional it is a bad idea to build at Areas the Developer obviously don’t want you to Build. It is possible to reach this Areas, and yes you can build there Camps.
But still the disadvantages overwhelm the benefits
++ No defense necessary
— No Vault entrance inside (Ok near in 2 Cases)
— No way to move inside your camp on a normal way.
—- It is Possible that the Developers want to add content in these areas. This can be the reason they are closed. So if you build there a Camp it can be that a Patch in the Future kill your Camp because suddenly there is not longer free space and instead there is a Huge Building.
So it would be thinkable that this would not only kill your Buildings, its thinkable that this make the whole camp/map unplayable, and this would mean you loose all, camp and all items in the trunks.

Подобных игр с таким же описанием было выпущено огромное количество. Но разработчики все доят и доят тему с ожившими мертвецами. Не обошла эта мода и Eko Software. Основным отличием от большинства других проектов заключается в том, что тут есть мультиплеер, и вы всегда сможете поиграть с друзьями. Вид камеры изометрический, хотя все вокруг выполнено в 3D.

История второй части переносит нас на несколько лет вперед после событий первой части. Эпидемия болезни, которая превращает людей в зомби, началась в городке Лос Рикос. Она быстро распространилась на соседние населенные пункты, а затем поглотила весь мир. Нормальная жизнь в человеческих условиях осталась далеко позади, в глубинах истории. Теперь вам придется выживать среди толп озлобленных монстров.

Никакой революции в геймплее, игрокам предлагается стандартный способ выживания, путем поиска продуктов, воды, экипировки. Во время этого нужно всячески укрываться от зомби. Из нововведений по сравнению со второй частью можно смело отметить мультиплеер, новые режимы игры, совершенно невообразимые локации, которых раньше не было и многое другое. Конечно, в игру добавлены новые варианты крафта для создания сотен предметов. Вы сможете также создать персонажа в обновленном редакторе, который позволяет намного лучше и точнее определить, кем будет ваш герой. Не обошлось также без новых типов зомби и вооружения, теперь пушек стало еще больше, а зомби стали более разнообразными.

Мутации подверглись не только люди, но и разные животные. Не удивляйтесь, когда встретите на своем пути что-то невообразимо отвратительное. На других локациях вы найдете зомби-солдатов и огромных толстяков, которые взрываются при приближении. Это явно отсылка к Left 4 Dead и их четырем видам зомби. Это далеко не все, на что хватило фантазии у разработчиков, вы увидите гораздо более изуродованных болезнью существ. Расслабляться нельзя никогда, днем вы воюете против обычных зомби, ночью выплывает новая угроза. Одним словом, вы будете в опасности всегда, в любом месте и времени суток.

Правда ночные существа бояться света, стоит посветить на них фонариком и они тут же бросятся врассыпную. Батарейка фонарика к счастью не разражается и ночные вылазки не особо отличаются от дневных. Но вам нужно есть, пить и спать, чтобы не загнуться от усталости и истощения. Можно охотиться с помощью лука, а можно и собирать фрукты и питаться ими, второе гораздо проще и они не требуют термической обработки. С водой проблем также не будет, все колодцы любезно указаны на карте.

В заключение стоит сказать, что How to Survive 2 не очень сложная игра, тут разработчикам не удалось передать атмосферу тягостного выживания, постоянной погони за продуктами и водой. Тут есть боссы, зомби и прочая нечисть, но все они довольно легко убиваются. Однако прохождение интересное и есть сюжетная линия, довольно не плохая.

Теперь был расширен перечень ремесел, которые вам придется прокачивать по ходу прохождения игры для того, чтоб выживать. Изучайте литье и учитесь создавать пули, создавайте предметы, учитесь выращивать растения и алхимии, и не только.

Ну и конечно же, помимо крафта и создания предметов, вас в How To Survive 2 ждет еще и продуманная система строительства, благодаря которой вы сможете построить убежище или создать целый лагерь, в котором будут мастерские, баррикады, магазины, и выжившие, которых вы позовете к себе.
