one of the worst quests out there mostly because of how ridiculously long it usually takes to complete.

for some reason blizzard has the chance or proc that let’s you progress through this intentionally tuned to make the quest take an average of over 30 minutes to complete.

and the finishing step of the quest cannot be shared by group members so if you ever do this as a group every single person has to manage to get the proc plus the triggered chance that the npc will talk.

so it trying this as a group expect this to take more than 60 minutes before everyone can finish

Notes

In order to progress the quest, make sure to stop attacking when the mob breaks and wants to talk! Also, avoid using your abilities. Otherwise, you’ll bring them down too fast before they can talk, simply auto-attacking will eventually work.

When you first start attacking, you and the mob will go back and forth with any of the following:

DK Questline: «How To Win Friends and Influence Enemies» bugged?

Me and a whole group of people have been hacking at these crusaders for a solid 3 hours now, no one has gotten them to tell the secret. Is it bugged?

Not the right place to report it. And you didn’t explicitly mention the particular realm.

Do you use the ‘Persuaders’ and hacked them without using offensive abilities at all?

Yes, I used both persuaders, took off all gears. Each one of us have hacked at least 200 of them now, combined 1000+, no one has proc’d the secret. This is ice crown btw.

dont work help im stucked for like 3 hours

You need to wait for ticket if it means you can’t get further in quest chains and for bugs you have to report them on Bugtracker.

Confirmed, it doesn’t work on Lordaeron too.
And Justmarried, this isn’t just a simple chain quest, this is the starting zone chain for Death knight, Most of the players here doesn’t ask for a permanent solution because it will take months, we just want some temporary solution for now so people could play death knights.

I’m not getting past either
Edit: today I logged on again, and on the first hit it triggered. I attacked a pursoader (the staff lady), but that shouldn’t matter
