People Playground – How to Hold a Gun (for Humans and Androids)

A guide on how to use humans and androids to hold a gun.

For the Professionals

I’ll cut to the chase in this section – pause the game, place a suitable gun in the Human or Android’s hand, hover over the hand, then either right click to activate or press F on the hand.

Full Guide

Simply spawn in your human or android.

If you do not know how to do this, there is a small Heart icon at the top left of your game.

Press it and the options for Humans and Androids should be presented.

Next, spawn in your Human or Android, by selecting the one you want to spawn, and then pressing either Q or E.

Next, make sure that the game is running, and not paused.

Once you have spawned your subject, right click on their upper torso, and select the “Freeze” option.

This will keep your subject nice and steady so that you can move their forearm into position.

Now that the subject is still, hover your mouse over to the right hand side of the screen and select the Hand Icon. This will allow you to move your character’s limbs individually.

Now, this is the tricky bit. Make sure that your game is NOT paused whilst positioning your subject’s forearm. Next, grab your character’s forearm by clicking and holding with the mouse. Make sure you do this slowly and carefully to avoid snapping your subject’s arm.

Once their arm is in a relaxed and forward facing manor as shown on the photo, pause the game by pressing SpaceBar.

Quickly let go of the arm once the game is paused, right click on the forearm, and press Freeze.

Now that the arm is in position, you can choose the weapon that you would like to equip your subject with.

Go to the top left corner of the screen and choose either the Melee section or the Firearms section.

Select the weapon that you would like to use, then spawn it on top of the forearm that you would like it to be held in. Make sure that it is facing the correct direction!

Spawn with Q for left facing weapons and E for right facing weapons.

Next, move the weapon so that the grip is hovering behind the subject’s forearm. Hover over the forearm and either press F, or right click and select Activate. This will allow the subject to hold the weapon.

Now, remember, the subject’s arm and torso are still frozen. If you wish for the subject to remain in this position, do not unfreeze the subject. If you do unfreeze the subject, the arm should fall back into its natural position.

As of yet the Humans and Androids have no desire to hold or fire weapons on their own.

Weapons can be fired with F when you hover over them.

Please Note: I am using a texture pack but this makes no difference at all.
Incase you want the texture pack look for the sci-fi texture pack and follow the download instructions.

This will show you three methods of the pistol

Method one: Is holding the pistol with one hand
Method two: holding the pistol with two hands
Method three: Duel wielding pistols and other weapons

It is recommended that you also make the weapons weightless so it is easier for them to move around and it also makes them look less «awkward»

Firstly you will need a human or android and a weapon
For this we will be using a human and pistol for the start
Method one:

Once you got your weapon you need to move the hand out and straight-ish I guess,
Then you pause time (Space bar) and must freeze the hand.

Then you must move the pistol up to the hand and push «F» or if you want to be slow open the menu thing (right click) on the hand and push activate on the hand when you think the gun is in position close enough to the hand.
Then once its equiped rotate the gun to your liking:

Using method one
This will allow the person to equip the weapon with two hands
Simply unfreeze time move the second hand up to the gun (Make sure the gun is frozen) then push «F» on the hand and make sure that the hand is almost in the exact spot at the first hand then you must pause time again.

Now you may notice that the gun is a little bit behind the hands you can if you want to move the gun a bit foward if it doesn’t look nice to you.

This one might be a bit more complex than the last two this involves two weapons being used aka a pistol or (pistol, knife or something else)

In this case we will use the pistol with a knife
Firstly disable the collision on the gun:

Then move the knife in a position where you feel it should be and press «F» on the hand I will be having be backwards:

Now you got a duel wielding psychopath

This is how a human/android should hold the weapon in my opinion

Firstly you must get the human or android and the assault rifle or AK47

This is similiar to pistol method one except you are holding a heavier gun
For this we will be using the assault rifle.
so firstly get your hand into position and the gun into position then press «F» on the hand then you must freeze the assault rifle

Then unpause time (this is the somewhat tricky part)
Then you must move the second hand near to the barrel and press F and the character might be like this and the gun in a awkward position.

Don’t panick just move the gun a bit foward until it looks like its being held normally

Now just make the gun weightless and unfreeze it and now you got a guy wielding an assault rifle.

This is the most ePiC style of holding a gun
Firstly its similiar to the duel wielding method but with two big guns

(This is a really bad way to hold a gun)
Firstly you need a human and two guns of your choosing.
We will be using two ak’s for this

Firstly put an AK in the one of the hands and freeze it and then get a second AK and make it have weightless and disable collision.

Then after you disabled collision unpause time and move the second AK into the other hand and connect it with both of them with propogation wires and fixed cables like so:

Make sure the propogation wires are going from one up and one down it is confusing I know but i’m not going to explain it in detail.

Now you should have Rambo?

I estimated it is a 1/50 chance of this happening they also make like a ghost screaming sound but its not as scary as it sounds it is just like a. calm screaming?

If you don’t know what this thing does then I congratulate you

The decimator basically deleted anything (except bullets) including abnormal objects like radio’s which would cause the world to be «deleted» other items that can delete the world are vents in the snow map and sometimes the lights in the normal maps.

It also makes particles upon deleting an object

This can also be made into a black hole but check another section of the guide to find that out.

Did you know there is an actual black hole in the game
Well if you didn’t know this already somehow if you use a generator or battery on the decimator it will infact turn into a black hole
Note: this might be removed in the next update

It will drag anything and I mean ANYTHING into it sometimes the things will go through the map to get to it

I tried to get all heights and to stop them moving around but this is the best picture I could get

The laser blaster has a random chance to not make the human not bleed but its very low,
In the case the Laser blaster doesn’t make the human bleed they have a extreamlly high chance of living unless shot in the top torso or in the head.

In the case the Human does bleed the human has a very high chance of dying in a matter of seconds no matter where shot.

If you kill a person with electricity (not including thunder and generators) sometimes it can revive a person like how a defibilrator does and can restore their heart beat and make them alive but with only low health / intergrity.

Its hard to capture with pictures but i’m too lazy to find a recording software and won’t do it anyways because most of them cost money to even use.

You can try it for yourself and see how it works

(Documented in 1.3)
This is the expanded gore it will probably be removed in the next update (aka 1.4)

Powerful weapons also make body parts vanish
(There is no way to disable this I believe)

Simply just go into settings and find it then activate it and maybe clear your world to make sure it works.

Now whenever you rip a person in half you can see this:

There is also a brain and eyes that can come out
If you shoot somebody in the head with a powerful enough weapon their eyes come out
and if you can blow it up their entire brain could come out!

BRAIN:

I used a shotgun to reveal the brain in a more gory fashion

Didn’t know what else to name this.

Whenever you shoot a human with a powerful weapon (shotgun, sniper, etc. ) really close sometimes white bits which I will call mini bone bits will come out and sometimes a body part will dissapear which is like 80% of the time.

Gorse acid spit at humans and Androids

Gorse acid works the same way as the acid syringe

Gorse acid doesn’t seem to affect androids

This counts as useless infomation so its recommended you skip this

If you haven’t realized an android is a lot taller than a normal human it if you also didn’t realise is really strong and takes quite a beating
Androids however can’t be injected with a syringe and if you want to fix it use a wrench
Its durability:
It can die from eight shots in the head with a laser blaster and nine to the upper chest (directly under the head) so if you were really good at shooting they shouldn’t be too hard.
It will infact always die almost instanly if shot anywhere with a beam rifle
It cannot survive water at all so if it is dropped in water it should «de-activate» in a few seconds

It can survive pretty much all weapons such as everything except beam rifle and maybe the laser blaster depending where you hit the android,

Androids can be taken down in two sniper shots if you hit its main AI core (Upper torso)

The tank instant kills the android if shot in the chest or head depending on how far the android is

Explosive durability:
It can take a few rocket launcher shots In which i’m too lazy to count how many rockets it takes to destroy one (unless directly shot in the head)

It is basicly immortal to grenades unless it is right next to the head. (It takes two grenades to the head to kill one) although the german grenade can do damage to the androids body and if placed directly on the head it will suffer too much damage and die.

Dynamite will cause extreme damage and will most likely result in the androids death in a single bundle of dynamite.

All explosives above these (general purpose bomb and stronger) will instanly kill this if close enough well except the nuke the nuke will destroy everything

How to repair/heal an android
Simply use a wrench on any part of their body part and that body part will be fixed BUT FIRST
You need to fix the upper torso and head BEFORE you repair the rest of the body otherwise it will not be fixed

The sentry turret always aims for the head first and this is guaranteed to instant kill a human but not an android, the sentry gun turret isn’t strong enough to pierce metals and wood and therefore can’t do major damage to the android infact it will probably do nothing to the android.

If the sentry turret is obstructed from the head it will move to the nearest spot to shoot the human

It can also be mostly destroyed with a nuke. it will basicaly just turn into a few turret gibs.

If the turret is flipped over it will no longer function just like the portal turrets.

Turrets also work underwater even though they would classify as robots.

They do indeed like normal lasers also reflect off of mirrors
(remember this is a guide on everything even on useless things)

Lasers also bounce off the turret which is cool I guess but I don’t know how that is possible since I see no mirrors on it

They can do a full 360 in order to get to their next target and if a target’s entire body is behind a barrier they can’t shoot the target but if some parts are visible the turret WILL aim for those parts.

This guide will cover basic mechanics that are not explained in these blocks, or are not inherently obvious. If there are any inaccuracies/mistakes in this guide, please comment and I will correct them.

To make a ragdoll hold a weapon, such as a gun or knife, spawn one in and freeze the game by pressing spacebar, or whatever you have bound to pausing. Then, drag the weapon near the ragdoll’s hand like so:

With the weapon still selected (green outline), hover your mouse over one of the ragdoll’s hands and press F, or whatever you have bound to activation.

You may now unpause time. If the weapon is too heavy, or is interacting badly with the ragdoll, you may right click on it and disable collision or remove weight.

Without the use of mods, the ragdoll can not shoot other ragdolls on its own. You have to manually activate the weapon. To make the ragdoll drop the weapon, activate the hand holding the weapon. Alternatively, you can just kill the ragdoll.

Syringes can be found under one of the tabs in the toolbar. They apply a wide variety of effects that can be found in their description.

To use a syringe, stab a ragdoll or gorse with it, like so.

Syringes constantly apply their effect as long as the syringe is injected into the ragdoll. In this instance, the life syringe ensures that the ragdoll is effectively immortal, as it is constantly being revived by the syringe.

You can transfer the syringe liquid into a blood tank with the use of blood vessel wires.

Syringes can also explode if enough damage is done to it. In this instance, I shot it. By exploding, it applies the syringe’s effect in a gas cloud that affects any ragdolls within radius.

The wire can be selecting by clicking on it on the right toolbar. Connect it between an electric object such as a generator and any other object to transfer electricity, like so. An object does not have to be «conductive» in order to be electrified.

Electric objects can transfer electricity to other objects. Note that electricity, in most instances, does not trigger activation. Copper wires are easier to destroy than regular wires. Ropes retain the same properties as wires while remaining destructible, however it does not conduct electricity.

By hovering over the wire, you may see that there is also a «Blood vessel wire» option. This wire transfers blood from a ragdoll to an empty container such as a blood tank or flask. It is also used to activate the Heart Monitor.

The blood wire also works on Androids and Gorse.

The rigid cable connects two objects together.

This fixes their relative position to each other but not their rotation. Under extreme circumstances, the cables may fail to accomplish this.

Despite its description, rigid cables are destructible. Wooden cables are even more destructible.

Heat pipes function identically to the rigid cable. However, they can also transfer heat to connected objects.

Heat pipes can also transfer coldness.

The propagation wire activates other objects. There are small arrows on the wire itself that shows you which direction the activation signal is sent.

When you activate the base object (in this case, the wooden crate), it will also activate whatever it is connected to. The wire will also light up.

The fixed cable connects two objects together.

This fixes their relative position to each other, as well as their rotation. Under extreme circumstances, the cables may fail to accomplish this.

Despite its description, fixed cables are destructible. Steel bindings are even more destructible.

The spring connects two objects together.

Unlike with rigid and fixed cables, you can easily move connected objects apart. Despite its description, springs are destructible.

Bandages work similarly to the spring. When used on a human however, it will stop bleeding. You must apply it on the general area of the bleeding wound.

The strong spring connects two objects together.

It acts similarly to the rigid cable, only that the position of the two connected objects are not fixed. The two objects are able to move closer to farther apart to each other, though they will try to «bounce» back into their original position.

Despite its description, strong springs are destructible.

The pin connects two objects together. It does not have variable length or size.

You can also pin things to the background itself. Both regular and wooden pins are destructible.

This pin allows two of any object, including ragdolls, to interact with each other without collision. To apply the phase link, click and hold on an object. Then, drag it to another. A blue line should appear to indicate the link, like so.

Once applied, the pins should appear normally on the two objects, and they should no longer be able to collide with each other.

Note that when pinning ragdolls, you only need to apply the pin to one part of the body. The whole body will be able to pass by the other selected object.

The phase link can only be destroyed if the applied object itself is destroyed.

You can save and paste builds. Saved builds can be pasted at any time, including in different game sessions, and as many times as you want.

To save builds, click and hold down on the screen and drag to create a green box.

Then, right click and click on the «save» button. Saved builds can be found in the left toolbar, with all of the other objects.

You can choose to either clear everything, only decals, or only living things. Clearing everything clears everything.

«Clear decals» clears debris from broken objects and blood spatters.

«Clear living» clears Ragdolls, Androids, and Gorse.

Мы решили сделать небольшой гайд по игре Пипл Плейграунд, чтобы помочь вам. Для начала пару слов об этой игре. Это песочница, в которой главной целью является уничтожение персонажа. В нашем случае робота, находящегося слева, либо человека справа. Однако, у игры также большой потенциал в плане строительства. По стандарту игры слева находится тулбар, который состоит из 6 элементов.

Рассмотрим их по порядку:

Также пройдемся по окну функций, которое появляется, если нажать правой кнопкой мыши на предмете.

Горячие клавиши

Теперь пробежимся по горячим клавишам. Окно предметов слева можно открывать клавишей Tab. Кнопкой С можно вызывать тулбар справа. Клавишей J можно замедлять время, пробелом время останавливается. Кнопкой Q и I можно останавливать людей и прочие предметы. Клавишами 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 можно выбирать один из тулбаров.

Затем идет транспорт: машина, танк, грузовик и вагон. Дальше идут механизмы, по ним будет отдельный обзор. Затем идут препараты, если их вколоть, то будет определенный эффект. Следом идут строительные и прочие материалы.

Последний отдел: сохраненные объекты. Внизу есть 2 кнопки, которые очищают всех живых существ. Если мы заспамим пару бит и человека, и нажмем эту кнопку, то она удалит только человека, вторая кнопка удаляет всех.
