I use mobile authenticator, i just used to sign in a minute ago yet I get this warning when trying to sell a card. WTF is going on?

Thanks. I read it as, I havent used it within 7 days, as in if U use it atleast once within a 7 day span it will be unlocked.

Seems like the authenticator has strict requirements you haven’t met yet and even when they’re clearly stated you’re gobsmacked beyond comprehension.
I think you should probably considering reading some of the knowledge base about the authenticator, the market and trading. I feel there’s lots of information in there you’re going to be equally shocked by when you get in over your head.

You need Steam Guard AND the Mobile Authenticator enabled … in your post, you only mention steam guard.
When you enter a guard code do you look it up on your phone?
When you enabled Steam Guard again, did you go straight to mobile authenticator, or did you enable Steam Guard email for 15 days, then enable mobile authenticator?
You should have an email as to the exact date when the mobile auth. was enabled on your account. Check that if you still have it.
Also, the times you see are in Valve time, not your local time zone.
And in most cases when we see this posted here, the user has most often just not quite waited the full time out yet.
It has to be 7 full days. 6 days and 23 hours and 59 minutes do not count.

Just don’t Trade, Sell, or Buy anything on your Account, that isn’t
dealing with the STEAM Store in the form of a Game, problem solved, hahah.
Is it really worth that much trouble?
I did not even setup the Process myself, & don’t plan to, it’s too much trouble,
if they can’t accept the way I have my Account setup, then that is their
problem, not mine. & it just means less money for them in the End.
They only have themselves to Blame for that as a result.

It’s true that Steam Guard has to be enabled for 15 days, but the message you are seeing that you posted here, which was good of you to do by the way, is this.
So this seems to be the restriction that is relevant at this time. And it’s probably that you have just not waited the full 7 days yet, as far as I see.
OP, you might be confusing the 15 days «Holds» with the Steam Guard 15 day restriction.

I have Steam Guard on my Phone. I’ve sold many things over the last month without incident. I went to post something to the marketplace for sale but its telling me its on hold.
I’ve logged into the website with my steam guard code but the hold still remains?
Any help would be apprecaited.
I bought and sold many marketplace items over the last 3-6 months, fairly regularly.
Also, I’ve followed all the steps at the top of the page before posting.
This was working fine up until a few days ago.
What does it say there?
It says to contact them? Nothing else?
If you cannot complete any trades or use the market, feel free to contact Steam Support.
If you can use the market just in a slow way then don’t contact them this way. Figure out why you have holds instead.
Basically it gives you holds so it probably thinks you haven’t used the mobile authenticator for 7 days.
Do you have a green shield here? https://store.steampowered.com/account/
If you search your emails for «authenticator added» do you find any recent emails?
Did you get a new phone recently or reinstalled the app?
If you get holds that means you CAN use the market, it just takes longer.
Again, you contacting support that way might not lead to anything since they will probably say «you can use the market, you just used it.» *closed ticket*
Can you search your email for any mail from Steam about authenticators?
If you added it again then you did get an email about it.
Just to be clear, holds are caused if you haven’t used the authenticator for more than 7 days.
If you haven’t had your account protected by a Mobile Authenticator for at least the last 7 days, items leaving your account will be held by Steam for up to 15 days.
This means if you reinstalled the app, or just logged out or switched to email for a bit then it resets.
Anyway, you should not get more holds in 7 days from now or less.
