It’s so amazing how she makes things and just uses her eyecromiter to measure things and they come out perfect everytime.

That just shows how good Festool is.

and even more amazing is her outfit and skin, that seemes to reject sawdust.

I loved the live edge work benches. Can’t imagine any shop would really use valuable slabs that way but interesting. Doesn’t seem like safety is much of a concern.

@Rap I wan’t talking about the stool. I was referring to the live edge slabs placed on the horses to make the work bench. Usually that will be a sacrificial material, not hardwood slabs.

It’s not like she’ll be wasting it, that stool will serve her and her family for the rest of her life. i would say lumber well spent.

Those wide cross cuts with the rip fence extended beyond the saw blade are very dangerous. The wide pieces could easily get pinched between the blade and the fence which would result in a massive kickback.
Edit: And there it’s being mentioned while involuntarily displayed.

@Joseph Usher what YOU fail to realize is all ur doing is throwing hot air up in smoke shes a grown adult in her home doing what she wants, end.

Looking back at this episode, it’s clear she has gotten more comfortable w/ wood working over time.

That is probably the nicest workshop I’ve ever seen. that tablesaw is amazing! I guess this is a commercial shop somewhere. I’d definitely need a warehouse for this layout.

I was thinking, strange table saw set up til I saw the kick back! That’s an absolutely ingenious way to use a table saw!! That’s cool. I’ve caught a couple kick backs right in the boys over the years!

Ok so I already saw comments on safety glasses so I won’t mention that, what I did fail to see is anyone mention how you use the fence and the sliding table in conjunction wich is a high risk of kickback! If you want repeated cuts then back the fence off a little and use a spacer block that releases before the wood hits the blade. You only want the fence up against your work if you have some sort of push stick behind the wood between the blade and the fence to prevent kickback….. hopefully that was a clear explanation!! Keep up the creative work!!

@Chris Morris And she still seems to «celebrate» the kickback. I’ve had kickback from a radial arm saw, and it wasn’t pretty. Now I feed those pieces through a «tunnel» so that they can’t kick back before the wood gets to the anti-kickback thingy.

On any decent table saw the rip fence slides. That way you can slide it back behind the blade where it cannot jam material between the blade and fence. No need for push sticks or spacer blocks. A riving knife and appropriate blade (not a rip blade) would be a good idea too.

that’s what I was thinking too when she was cutting it the other side was trapping the wood creating the dangerous situation. the guy that scripting this video and showing her what to do must be an idiot if he didn’t know that because it’s obvious that she doesn’t know what she’s doing she’s just doing what she’s told

I have no idea how this ended up on my feed but I know why I watched it 2x. Not to mention that she is the best looking wood worker I have seen. Her skill level is off the chart since she doesn’t need to wear eye protection nor foot protection just those sweat shop gloves she has. Points for the form fitting uniform and not baggy clothes to get caught in her machines. Right on this is my kind of work. Yeah I subscribed.
